Pleasant two night stay for family of 5

Plenty to like great size lodge was bigger than expected with an extra bedroom Two bathrooms with showers as a family of five this was great bathrooms were both clean and functional Bedrooms were lovely bedding very nice and clean Kitchen was very modern and has everything for a short stay including soap dish sponge and a tea towel Hot tub was a great size for all of us kids especially enjoyed it Was a small decking area to sit on and it was very private Nice little trail to walk through the woods with the children and dogs also a wildlife pond Overall ok for the money wouldn't stay again

I generally don't leave any negative feedback on stays but after reading all the reviews I feel I should of listened when booking Overall the lodge had a rundown feel Sofa had a small rip . Ripped wall paper in bedrooms Cobwebs and spiders in bedrooms After a day the hot tub was murky and was smelling by the 3rd day Mattress in main bedroom was weird at first seemed comfortable but was like sleeping on jelly. Throw in main room was covered in dog fur 🥴 And second day of our stay Welsh water turned the water off which was a pain as we have 2 children under two. We spent the day out and ate at a restaurant came back on early evening thank God no drinking water provided

The location was super!

The hot tub was cold. Other peoples used lemons by the side of the hot tub. The turf area was stinking. The floor mop was full of hair and dirt. It was dusty most places. Birthday banners left on doors from previous people.

The size of the lodge was surprisingly big! There was only 2 of us staying there but its also ideal for big families. The lodge was well equipped and very modern 👌 the value for money here is extremely good and would definitely recommend it to others. We would love to return for another stay

We loved everything about the property, no complaints except cabin next door playing loud music and shouting until early hours of the morning even though quiet time is from 11pm-7am. I am all for having fun but have consideration for others who are staying nearby.

Spacious well equipped lodge, enjoyed by all.

A well equipped lodge. Very spacious, plenty of room for 6 people. Hot tub was lovely and checked every morning by staff. Grounds were very well kept. We really enjoyed our stay.

Double bed wasn’t very comfortable but single beds were lovely. One of the bathroom lights was not working, no bother for us as we just used the one bathroom. 4 slice toaster, only 2 slice compartments were working. no option to turn off radiator in kitchen. decking was full of leaves when we arrived so we needed to sweep before using hot tub, we used dust pan and brush, maybe a big brush would be good to provide? We also think the option of wifi would be nice, even if it was pay to use. these are just little things we noticed tho- all round it was a lovely lodge and we would stay again!

The accommodation was well laid out and generally we enjoyed our stay.

The hot tub ! It was clean and near the property - a definite plus!

The property was open when we arrived, however we were advised that there would be a charge of £15 if we entered before 4.00pm even though it was ready to occupy. The lodge was quite tired looking - although clean. One of the showers wasn't working (although it was fixed quickly) no internet at all - we were advised that it would be available in 3 days after we arrived. A few other minor repairs were required. We felt that the property should have been checked before our arrival.

The hot tub was immaculate and the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful

There were crumbs on floor in kitchen and on the work surface. There was a dirty blind in kitchen the oven was dirty, we cooked one in it because we had no other choice. One of the Toilet’s was blocked for a while, if we had been at full capacity this would have been a real issue There was no hot water, I looked for a hot water switch and was unable to locate it There was no hand soap Not enough toilet rolls provide I sent my feedback via contact form and have received no response.

Nice stay but could be better

Location, spacious, hot tub, The location of the cabin is great - it’s in the woods on a quiet lane and peaceful. The cabin was spacious with 2 bathrooms. Equipped kitchen was good. The addition of the hot tub was great and very relaxing. This cabin has great potential. Good location for visiting our friends and relatives.

Not very clean, hot tub smelly after 4 days, mattress not comfy, it needed some tlc. On arrival whilst unpacking dirty washing up was found in bedside drawers and lots of rubbish behind bedside drawers. There were squashed bugs on several walls inside the cabin. There were 2 showers but only one worked. The toilet seat in one bathroom did not fit and every time you sat down it wedged inside the toilet bowl. Bathroom tiles on floor needed regrouting and wallpaper peeling off walls. After 3 days of use the hot tub became cloudy and very smelly. Were told if we wanted water changed it would be an extra £50. Some chemicals were added which improved it slightly but we were leaving the following day. There was no where to eat outside at a table. Mattress on double bed was just awful - very uncomfortable with springs non existent and noisy. On third night wifi which was only available outside reception (which was fine we knew this) disappeared. This cabin has so much potential and really could be amazing. Considering the rental price, basic cleaning and maintenance let it down.

Lovely 4 night stay

After reading some reviews I was sceptical about the cleanliness of the lodge, when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and neat everything was. We stayed in Goldcrest 4 all utensils and cookware was sufficient (not that we used much of it as we enjoyed lunch out most days!) and enjoyed having the 2 shower rooms, hot tub was amazing and really easy to use (but remember to bring your own towels as they aren’t included but can be hired from reception for £4) There is no WiFi in the lodges however there is free view and a DVD player in the lodge for you to use however we only really needed it of a nighttime. Was such a lovely stay with the dog, she really enjoyed having a stroll through the woodlands around the site too.

The only things negative about the lodge is we found the mattress to be really uncomfortable as there were some springs digging in, we had to use the twin beds to sleep in after a few nights.

Loved the chickens and fresh eggs.

The lodge had a strong smell of dog, the mattress in the main bedroom needs replacing it was so uncomfortable. Door handle was broken to another bedroom meaning we couldn’t close the door.

Property itself was amazing Unfortunately for us we thought was based in Tenby as said Tenby in description we called a local taxi was told £50 at least to get us to Tenby I would say the place itself is spotless Hot tub amazing
