Beautiful place will definitely go again

I loved how quiet and secluded it was

There could be a cover over the hot tub for when it’s raining but it didn’t bother us much and the tv was broken which we didn’t notice until our second day and it couldn’t be replaced

Kaowood break

It was lovely and quiet, stayed at squirrel lodge, furniture and beds were comfortable. Was bigger than it looked in photos, hot tub was lovely and clean only issue, the lights in it weren't working. Had a lovely relaxing stay.

There was no WiFi which was ok as we both had 4g. If you have children thought it could be a potential issue.

Was alright but needs work doing

The heating was good was warm and was big place

The hot tub lights didn’t work even though they said they did the shower was cold the bed was dirty and like sleeping on a wooden plank they completely scammed us by saying checkout is at 11 then proceeded to charge 15£ at half 10 because we hadn’t checked out but the email says 11 make that make sense the door was jammed and had to be shoved to be open and my girlfriend has back issues which meant without me she couldn’t open it overall needs a few improvements.

Nice lodge but needs new settees

Well equipped, spacious enough for 4 people

Unpleasant smell on entering the property, settees did not smell very good & had uncomfortable springs poking from the cushions, so sat on dining chairs for most of the stay.

The location was really nice and peaceful. The lodge and site were really clean.

The floor of the decking was a little slippery so just had to be careful. Light broke during the stay and the tap took for ever to heat up. But it didn’t bother us.

As always even with the downside of things we enjoyed our stay and will come again

We always have a good time when we visit Kaowood Country Park which is why we have booked again for next year. We also like Wales and use Kaowood as a base to visit local towns and villages

The water pressure in the sinks for hot water was terrible. Some lights didnt have bulbs although on the lights above our bed we were told that they werent fitted yet. The shower as impressive as it looked wasnt up to scracth. we had to google it to see how it worked and even then the temperature wouldnt settle. We have staued in other lodges in Kaowood and didnt have these problems. Overall the whole lodge was dark. However saying that we still enjoyed our stay.

Perfect, peaceful getaway!

- The location is perfect, easy drive there and out of the way. - The lodge had different takeaway brochures which delivered to the site, perfect if you wanted to order in. - Took our dog and there was a forrest walk behind the lodges, stunning walk each morning and so peaceful. - The lodge was clean and was full of everything needed, such as pots, toaster, pans, cutlery etc. - Even though many lodges on site, it was super peaceful and each lodge has its own privacy. - Hot tub is checked each morning and was super clean and hot! Will definitely be returning in the future!

- Lack of recycling facilities within the lodge/site, took our recycling home.

An amazing stay in a beautiful setting with a Great hot tub! :)

Peaceful, quiet location. The lodge was very clean & the hot tub spotless. Best night's sleep in a while!

Half a toilet roll left for a family of 4. No washing up liquid when stated washing up materials available (granted a tea towel & sponge/scourer were available). Shower temperature setting would not adjust, so showers were all at 37 Deg C (a little chilly).

Lovely clean Lodge, good facilties in Lodge and hot tub was lovely. Beautiful location.

The shower was constantly fluctuating temperature from luke warm to cold, no matter how we attempted to set temperature. There were no instructions to explain correct use. Also in guest info it said you would incurr cost if a call out to lodge was not needed, so as it may have been simply human error of unknowing correct way to set temperature we were reluctant to call them out in case we ended up with substantial cost!

lovely stay but needs some improvements

was very private and cosy, 5 minute drive to the shops and 25 minute drive to Tenby.

no steps to get in and out of the hot tub which is very dangerous as the decking gets so slippery. the hot tub lights did not work so had to use our phone lights for light as it was pitch black outside. no hot water inside the property, had to shower in cold water all weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay. Lodge was a good size, bathroom, kitchen and lounge were all good sizes with everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Hot tub was lovely!

We couldn’t quite work out how to change some of the settings on the hot tub it took a lot of fiddling about and the beds were slightly on the smaller side
