The property was well-located, and we enjoyed the privacy. Thankful for the security of being able to park right next to the property. Very grateful for the local tips and guides in the guest handbook, such as beaches, maps of the site, pubs, restaurants and local takeaways. The ambience of the lodge was cosy but modern, making it a homely experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet natural feel of the site.

The door didn't open and close properly, with the lock not working well, which we had to struggle with. There was a fair amount of dust on top of the fridge. We also needed to do a clean on our first day as there was a fair amount of cobwebs. There were some random bits of blue plastic in the jacuzzi. The sharp knives were quite blunt. There is no place to store clothes in the main bedroom, apart from the very small drawers of the side tables. Although there was a dustpan and brush, there was no mop that we could use to clean the floors (suggestion). There was only half a toilet roll available for 4 days.

The location was absolutely spot on! The cabin was lovely and it was clean. We loved having the hot tub it was a bonus treat.

What a beautiful log everything was moden and cosy and dog friendly so I took my little reggie with me had lush walks that u go on through the walking trails they have lovely and quiet me and my partner had a peaceful relaxing break and the staff ate good too

We knew it was a quiet location that’s why we booked it and it was perfect especially the hot tub and the holiday home was so comfortable the lights and heating were on on arrival so lovely .

lovely location. fab hot tub.. lodge basic but we had a fab time .

peaceful, relaxing. loved the hot tub after long days walking.

for us with 2 dogs , a floor brush would have been good. loads of bits falling off the trees and coming into the lodge. floor was a mess . we were there for 5 days and had to dustpan and brush it. also maybe a cloth to wipe down, only a small sponge available, also 1 loo roll for 2 people for 5 days. no cork screw, no hair dryer. a sive for the hot tub would have been useful as it’s u dear trees and loads and loads of bits fell in when we were in the tub, we had nothing to scoop them out. Just basic I guess .

We had the last lodge in the row which was very nice and secluded. There was also an information booklet with everything in it that you need to know places to eat where to shop etc..... Also didn't expect towels so that was a good suprise

Only one roll of toilet roll so make sure to bring some and there really is nothing there as in salt and pepper cooking oil etc.....

Ideal for a relxing weekend away from it all

When warmed up the cabins were an ideal place to spend a relaxing weekend away . Hot tub was lovely under a moonlit night sky

If we hadn't run into a fellow visitor we wouldn't have had a clue how to get into our accommadation. The accommodation was freezing when we arrived - again we had to find out for ourselves how to get the heating going. Dishes hadn't been washed very well by previous users.

Excellent - can't wait to go back

Everything!! Can't wait to go back again. All the facilities were spot on, the whole place was so clean and tidy. Loved the fact there's a reception at the top of all the pods. When I did have a query and contacted the number out of hours, there was a fast and polite response. Hot tub is spot on, love the fact that it is dog friendly. Rooms are spacious, bright and fab views within the forest. Kitchen is amazing, every utensil you could need. And a freezer as well as fridge. I could go on and on. But just quality service and an amazing stay!

The only single thing I could possibly complain about is that there is only black bag rubbish and I was unable to recycle. This is not a complaint, rather a suggestion Also the dvd player wouldn't open but not a problem for us as we didn't expect one to be available so brought our own

A bit shoddy, main door needs fixing, hot tub could of been cleaner, as could area around tub , some light bulbs need replacing, would of liked a dustpan and brush. No wifi
