Overall a good experience, very nice lodges, great location.

Nice location, spacious lodge. Hot tub up to temp. Quiet location.

Very hard to warm the property up, Little to no hot water for showers/baths, booklet of info they provide - looked for good food places in and around the area and half of the places were either closed for refurbishment or permenantly closed down - I run numerous rentals on air b and b and booking, we update ours frequently, it would seem this place doesn’t update it as places on the list were closed for a long time.

Nicely tacked away into a little quiet tree area. Plenty of space.

Internet was a problem for kids, not WiFi and very poor mobile network, there also were couple of things missing, which we would have liked to have had during our stay. Dishwasher , hoover.!

A great place to disconnect and unwind.

The site was very pretty and the lodge was exactly as expected. Everyone especially enjoyed the hot tub! Our group was probably the loudest on site at the time. The beds were comfortable and the jets in the bath were great.

There was no phone signal in the area at all, or WiFi in the lodges, so struggled to use maps when close to the site to navigate to other places. The disconnect also made for antsy teenagers!

We enjoyed our stay in the lodge and had a few good days out in Laugharne and Haverfordwest. It was lovely to come back

very spacious bedrooms and living area and comfortable beds and pillows . Nice staff and enjoyed the hot tub and jacuzzi bath , ads a little luxury !

we mentioned to reception that the hot water was never hot in the kitchen so we just boiled the kettle to wash up . Also wi- fi was a problem as it was advertised as having free wi- fi when we booked .

Adequate for a one night stay - clean and tidy

The property was spacious and was big enough for our large party. A towel per person is provided which is nice.

The hot water taps didn't work and as mentioned in previous other reviews, the wifi was awful and didn't work at all so go not expecting to get any signal. The property lacked in any basic toiletries - 1 toilet roll per bathroom; no soap provided and very few utensils in the kitchen - if this had been noted we could have been more prepared.

Good location but tired property in need of TLC

The beds were very comfortable and it was a great location.

The property was tired and in need of some attention. Very stained and dirty carpet. Join between lounge and kitchen was worn and had sharp bits in it which my grandson cut his toe on. Coffee table leg was falling off and dangerous. Glasses and plates chipped and only 3 wine glasses. Hot tub area was very dirty. The property description is misleading regarding BBQ and seating area/garden

You've probably heard this 1000 times, but WiFi is definitely needed in every lodge for the prices people are paying as there isn't much to do apart from a couple of small woodland walks, which only take about 10 minutes to walk. So having WiFi means you can bring other devices to watch family films etc, WiFi is available at reception, but who wants to go and sit at reception?.....On arrival our lodge had been cleaned (as expected) and the heating was on so the lodge was nice and warm for everyone....and easily located.

An amazing place with some small tweaks needed but would still highly recommend and return to.

The property was very clean and spacious, the hot tub was excellent and the kitchen was equipped.

The knifes used for prepping food were not sharp enough to cut through most things and the phone service in the area is non existent including WiFi and there is a musty damp smell when you first walk in to the property.

Lovely stay

The property was in a perfect location for a weekend away stay - we had no intention of leaving the cabin all weekend and it was very easy to get to

The only thing I would say as a negative was that there was a damp smell in the bathroom and the hot tub had a smell to it on the first night. It was cleaned on the second day and was a lot better (though still a smell). Overall it was a great stay and I have booked again for next year - great value for money

Pleasant

Lodge itself is lovely, location is also lovely, close to lots of places to visit. Shame there wasn't any information at the lounge with details of places to visit, places to eat etc.

Hot tub wasn't clean, facilities are basic.

Disappointing stay and wouldn't return

No basic cleaning items such as hoover or mop. No dishwasher which should be a minimum in such a large lodge. Damp smell in bottom floor and particularly one bottom floor bedroom which would have been uninhabitable. Disappointed to see damage to the walls which could have been repaired during lockdown. Clear that no ongoing maintenance happens as decking, fences etc not painted for some time. Hot tub also had dirt / grit at the bottom so clearly not fully cleaned prior to our arrival. Also no blind in the bottom floor bathroom so had to tuck in one of our towels to the window for privacy. Overall disappointing stay would not return.
