Holyland House - Greenacres Estates

It’s a lovely old house that has been renovated into separate large self contained apartments. It’s quiet location set in lovely countryside but close proximity to Pembroke, Tenby and Saundersfoot.

Nothing not to like - we wouldn’t certainly look to return again

Older buildings are tricky to maintain, the steps from apartment and car park need a little attention, but did not detract from great time we had

The apartment was very large, well equipped and furnished, and with a lovely view of the garden. The hosts were exceptionally attentive to problems and gave excellent tourist advice. The location is excellent - a short 15-20 minute trip from outstanding sights like Manorbier beach and castle and Swanlake beach, Barafundle beach and Broadhaven beach, and Church Cove and Skrinkle Haven beaches, all three areas accessed from parking grounds and the Coastal path. There is traffic noise, but this was solved by closing the bedroom windows at night and opening the others in the apartment. There is no noise in the living room.

We had a noisy boiler in the main bedroom of the flat (apartment no 4) which went on at night. This was solved eventually by switching it off at night - but the hosts will by now have dealt with this problem.

Within walking distance of town big car park.

We were ‘upgraded’ into a larger but ground floor apartment. It’s always nice to be genuinely upgraded but I didn’t really like the subterranean feel to the rooms particularly at the back.
