We love Kaowood and have been a few times. There was some issues with the lodge that was sorted out quite quickly
Hot water wasn’t available

Overall we had a great stay, the hot tub was ready to use and being surrounded by the trees was just lovely. Bed was really comfortable and I had a great sleep which is unusual when I am away. Cabin was spacious and had a full working kitchen
The bathrooms lacked towel rails and hooks and there was a lot of black mould on the sealant around the shower which was unsightly and needs treating or replacing, although clean it gave a feeling of not feeling clean

Nice location and very private
Didn’t feel the property had been cleaned before arrival. Dried up food on table, 3 large cobwebs in both bathroom & suite with spiders dangling in. Chocolate wrapper & crayons down the side of sofa which obviously from previous people
