A warm and welcome introduction to Bali!

The breakfasts were amazing. The fruit plate was exceptional. The ability to order a hot entree was well received. Fresh fruit juice, wonderful Balinese coffee. The welcome, the welcome cold drink, the spa, the pool, the room, the bathroom, the bed, the location close to town, the staff! Everything was great! Made, our driver, who picked us up at the airport and whom we also used to take us to Sidemen and stops in between was great. Would highly recommend. We stayed three nights and it gave us a good taste of what Bali would be like for the next 14 days. A very warm welcome indeed!

Very chill and relaxed in this place

The environment is quite clean and quiet. I really like the design of these suites

Maybe they can provide a telephone in the room so that guests can contact with the reception easier . Or they can provide a small mobile phone for guests who do not have a local number and WhatsApp.I visited Ubud last year where I stayed in Stone House which is an excellent accommodation providing me with a small mobile phone during the stay , it is so convenient!

Parking is off the narrow road and can be a bit of a squeeze. Be careful of how Google maps...they may take you down very narrow lanes if you're not careful.

Great boutique hotel if you’re staying in Sanur.

Wow! What a fantastic little boutique hotel. Comfortable room and bed, friendly helpful staff, nice pool and one of the best breakfasts we have had in Bali. We liked the location too - away from the hustle of Main Street Sanur, but not far to walk to Icon and the beach. All positives from us - we would love to return some day.

Peaceful, private, extremely comfortable, staff that went the extra mile with everything, massage, had early morning checkout and a parcel was awaiting us at 6am, swimming pool…. Cannot think of anything we did not like!

Relaxing in paradise

It was a little paradise in Sanur. The hotel people are nice and they made our holiday very nice and peaceful. Our family (couple with two daughters of 18/16) enjoyed very much. The massage was very nice too. We recommend this hotel who want to have personal assistance (just enough and not too much) making sure all is going well all the time.

Good

Staff is very friendly. The only thing we would give them as feedback is to be a bit more proactive. For example: between 4 and 6 pm it's tea-time. Eventhough we were sitting outside on our patio, we had to ask for it every single time. Room is nicely decorated and spacious. And clean as well! Didn't see any bugs or other animals. Except the housecat Misley who is very friendly :) . Great massage. We did a 90 minute one for 235.000 IDR excluding 21% fee.

For an adults only accomodation you will still hear kids screaming and playing from the neighbours. That's not what you want to hear.. The breakfast is ok. The fruit is nice, but for the main you can only choose 1 item out of: nasi, omelet, french breakfast or yoghurt with muesli. Sometimes 1 dish was not enough so we ordered an extra yoghurt with muesli. We were charged with 130.000 IDR excluding 21% tax and service charge. That's almost the price of a full breakfast which is 155.000 IDR. Also for a hotel which is not very cheap for a place like Bali, you will only get 1 cup of coffee or tea at breakfast. For more, you will have to pay (around 30.000 IDR excl 21%). It doesn't feel customer friendly. The diner is ok, but we would recommend to go to the coast for better food. But if you do, make sure to arrange it at breakfast already. It was nice to have the pick-up at the airport arranged (300.000 IDR paid directly to the driver). For the way back take a Grab. We paid him in total 150.000 IDR.

It was so clean and very well presented. We like that our room had a private outside seating area where we had breakfast with a small water fountain. The bedroom was clean and modern with a Balinese vibe and we loved the light and bright bathroom. The Staff were all so nice and accommodating.

We loved everything about the property, we would just have liked it to be a bit closer to the beach and beach front.

Karmagali was a good choice for a short stay, and I’d visit again.

I loved how small the property is. There’s not space for too many guests, so it never felt crowded. The bed was soft, and everything was clean.

The pool area was lovely and so were the gardens. Such friendly and helpful staff - everything was done to a high standard. Yummy breakfast too

There should be some more sun loungers around the pool area just in case more than 4 people want to be at the pool at once. (two large sun beds only). My only suggestion for an otherwise gorgeous place. I will return for sure

Best boutique hotel experience ever

I don't know where to start. Everything was amazing. The staff, the room, the bathroom, the pool, the peacefulness. Probably the best 3 nights of rest we had over our entire trip. The breakfast was really good, great options to choose from. The dinners were amazing too. It's a little bit of luxury tucked away down a quiet street but not far from bars, shops, and beach either. I wish I could just live here haha.

The rooms create a cozy courtyard with swimming pool in the centre. Our room was quite spacious with outdoor seating area facing the pool. The pool is long, perfect for swimming.

The bathroom gets very hot and humid if the bathroom door is not open to the bedroom. All the food, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner, must be ordered 12-24 hours in advance. This concept absolutely didn't work for us, especially on the first night when we arrived from the airport, my husband wanted to have dinner but was told not possible. Also, there is not a decent restaurant close by, which makes this concept even more inconvenient.

The property was being refurbished and some of the roof debris had fallen into the pool, which was closed. I was not aware the pool was dirty and closed, or I would have booked elsewhere. We were also not able to order any food or drinks at the property as there were no staff working in the kitchen.

Great villa for a calm experience

Amazing everything - very tranquil. Totally zen and I enjoyed it. Its a cluster of villas surrounding a pool. Rooms are super duper clean with beautiful deco.

1. There is no option for floating breakfast 2. We booked the 2 bedroom villa. In the bathroom, through the window anyone who walks past the garden can see the person showering naked. Would be good to install a cover to give option for guests to close the window.
