Perfect position for a relaxing break

Great spot along the boardwalk. Lovely relaxing pool areas. Great breakfast, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Had an amazing time with my daughter. Close to the icon and small fixed priced shops - enough shopping. Water was clean and beaches were too. Excellent side of the island.

We’ll be returning to Santrian again for the fantastic location, service and beautiful beach and pool area.

Ultimate Sanur location! Right on the beach with a lovely restaurant, bar, pool and sun bed area with spectacular ocean view.

The resort is currently undergoing renovation and there was construction noise between 9am-5pm each day during our stay. We were not made aware of the construction period prior to our arrival. Every thing else was perfect. Great service by staff and very clean facilities. I look forward to returning in the future when the renovations are completed.

We both loved this old established Balinese Hotel and have booked for next year.

Great pool, a sunny one and a shaded one….lovely old established gardens, built in 1968 with original statues and trees. Good position with easy access to shops and beach.

Lots of renovations and new building going on so dust and noise where sometimes a problem..

Grita excellent for Sanur

Exceeded expectations. Have stayed in Sanur a few times before. Grita the best so far

The stupid Icon Mall. It caused us so many headaches trying to get around because of the traffic. For example , one night it took one hour to get to Pasar Sindhu because the Grab took us on a Jalan tikus experience and we still got jammed. Place is a waste and not adding value to Sanur. Actually, we won't be back to Sanur any time soon because it's so annoying and an eyesore. Perfect example of over tourism killing the golden goose!

Beautiful place with beautiful rooms, pools and gardens

Beautiful pools, breakfast delicious, location right on the beach, rooms clean and spacious, they very kindly stored our luggage while we visit Nusa Lembongan for 2 nights, free of charge

Construction work in lots of locations was extremely loud and disruptive to the peace, a 20% discount offered at restaurant, but then 20% tax put back on? So not really a discount? But it stopped by 5 and it’s not like you sit in your room all day so not really a huge bother

Pool was close but I had to negotiate to get the room.

Disappointing lack of communication.

The rooms and the hotel gardens are very nice. The food and drink is reasonably priced.

When we arrived we discovered that some major renovations had just commenced. One complete side of the main pool had been boarded up and the stairs with handrails was not accessible. This was a major problem for our friends who booked a deluxe room with pool and ocean views only to find both aspects blocked by a 2metre temporary wall. In addition, jackhammers operated from 8 until 5 during the day. Other renovations around the hotel were also underway. To compensate, the hotel offered 20% discount on food and beverages. I understand renovations are needed sometimes but some notification would have been appreciated so that we could make a fully informed decision as to whether we stayed there.all in all it was disappointing.

Staff were so welcoming and we just loved everything about our stay.

That it has everything and the shop’s restaurants Markets were all right there. You didn’t need to go out into the main town if you didn’t want to.

Would have like more water provided in the room rather than the two small bottles Terrible service around the pool and bar so I went to Arena instead which is situated on the edge of the front ( stayed last year and service was great around pool & bar) The cocktails need improvement as they taste very weak and not cold or decorated enough…once again we went to Arena where they were much better Like our trip last year there was no one to greet us when we arrived or help with our luggage from the taxi…it was day time

A nice resort which will be even better I suspect once the building works are completed.

It was set in a lovely tropical garden close to the beach & also to the main road. Three pools to choose from. A good buffet breakfast on offer. Good sized rooms with a comfortable bed & serviced daily. A spa offering Balinese massages ( as well as other treatments).

Noisy at times due to building works going on… in fairness, we were warned about it. Our room had a bedside table & lamp on one side only despite the extra wide bed & the lighting was dim. Some of the staff at the pool bar area seemed disinterested/pre-occupied when attending to guests.
