Loved the location of Tandjung Sari and its wonderful history. Food and staff were exceptional and the grounds were beautiful.
I think the rooms are getting close to needing an upgrade, of which I know will be done sympathetically and in keeping with its history.

This is a gem of a hotel. Everything about it is totally incredible. The rooms that we stayed in were better than any hotel room I think I have stayed in before. Huge, beautifully designed. The outside shower the cherry on the cake.

Where to start - we loved the authentic Balinese style of the hotel, the gardens are beautiful and well kept. The private beach is perfect with the extra touches of a third seat and the method of raising a sign if you need anything. Staff were always happy and could not be more accommodating. We enjoyed watching the dance school practising and their final evening performance on the beach. All the food is delicious, we loved our outside shower and the hats, sarongs and shirts that are available to use during your stay. We popped overnight to Gili T during our stay and the hotel arranged the driver to take us and pick us up the next day - he looked after us very well. We were sad to leave. Overall, if I was fortunate to return to Bali I would stay here again.
