A wonderful stay on Sanur Beach

This is a really nice hotel in a very nice setting right on Sanur beach. It is bungalow style accommodation which is very nicely decorated. The staff are exceptional. The restaurant is of a very high standard.

A wonderful stay at a traditional Balinese hotel.

Everything!!! A charming, spacious, beautifully decorated bungalow. The property has amazing traditional Balinese architecture, situated right off the beach and beach promenade. Wonderful breakfast. The staff and service are exceptional! Wish we could have stayed here longer…. much longer!

Amazing stay

We got the executive bungalow. It was very lovely, huge room and loved the turn down service. All staff was very lovely and attentive during our staff. Would definitely stay again. Pool may be small but as its a small resort it was the perfect size.

We had a small issue with no hot water when we arrived but they fixed it very quickly. Not the cheapest but definitely worth the price.

Great location on the beach. Traditional Balinese design.

Breakfast service wasn’t as good as usual, mistakes with orders. Maybe because it was Christmas and they were busy. But given the price I would expect the service to be more reliable.

Loved every bit of it. This was our 2nd time staying here.

Location was great. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. We had two boys 4yo and 8yo with us and we felt very welcomed by everyone.

Not many trees in the beach area where the sun beds are and it gets too hot and sunny during the peak sun time. More trees would help a lot in making the beach pleasant.

Magical Stay in Paradise

Magnificent property with amazing caring staff 10/10 for staff. These wonderful people make sure every guest receives personal care and attention. The bungalows are beautiful and so clean. It is very obvious this is a family owned resort. Great choice of foods whether it’s breakfast or dinner. We will return April 2026.

This hotel has a soul! It is beautiful in every corner! Green, elegant, bali historical vibe. We enjoyed every moment we stayed there. It has the best beach in that area.And you can swim from the beach.

Perfection. An amazing property, with amazing staff.

We were recently married at the Tanjung Sari and stayed for 4 days with a group of 40 people. The level of care and service we received was nothing short of amazing. The hotel rooms and ground are spotless. I have travelled extensively, and this hotel is the best I have stayed in. We felt like family and will be forever grateful for their assistance in creating an unforgettable wedding and holiday. We will be back.

It was a peaceful beautiful place to wind down at the end of an over seven week stay in Indonesia.

It was a beautiful well maintained property and the staff were very attentive. I liked that the beachfront walk ran in front of the property. It was fun how they set up an extension of the restaurant right on the beach.

It wasn’t anything that Tandjung Sari could control, but was very surprised at how shallow the ocean was so basically unswimmable. We were looking forward to swimming in the ocean.

The perfect holiday

The Tandjung Sari is one of my all time favourite hotels in Bali. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, everything is perfect. Gorgeous Balinese style architecture and gardens. The beachfront restaurant is beautiful and the food and service is excellent. The complimentary breakfast is cooked fresh and you have a selection of pastries, fruit plate and a hot meal including juice and barista coffee. We love the location, close to everything. We felt incredibly spoilt.

Amazing hotel! Don’t hesitate to book it! From the first greeting till the last minute the staff was so polite, respectful, always smiling and running an extra mile to make you feel comfortable like at home. There are lots of personal touches and compliments from the management too, thank you! The facilities are great, the villas are spacious, spotlessly clean, with lots of trees and palms around. To stay at the gazebo and listen the grasshoppers in the night was so relaxing! The breakfast is fabulous with fresh juice, fruits, pastries and variety of main course. The restaurant in the evenings is remarkable with its romantic atmosphere, live Balinese music and high quality. This hotel is definitely a gem in Sanur! We will come back with pleasure! Highly recommend it to everyone!

Prices in the restaurant are a bit high compared to the others around and the service in the kitchen can be improved. In addition, some activities like yoga, offering class, cooking class, afternoon tea, etc. might add a huge value to the overall experience.
