Lovely stay in a tranquil setting close to restaurants and short walk to. Each.

Beautiful setting, spotlessly clean, fabulous breakfast , super smiling and welcoming staff. They juggled rooms for us to allow us an extended checkout as we had a late flight. Pool was wonderful as were the loungers. Great WiFi and AC. Spacious bathroom. Lovely touch at turndown - cookies and a story to read. Mosquito net.

Poor lighting in the room; insufficient power outlets requiring a floor light to be unplugged to use the kettle.

Beautiful relaxing Balinese inspired hotel

Beautiful relaxing Balinese style hotel. Couldn’t fault it. Great location and a short stroll to the beach and amazing eateries. Rooms were large and clean with a great relaxed vibe. Breakfast was really lovely.

- the architecture and design of the place - the quietness - the pool - the spa - the overall service and facilities, even to guests who checked out on the same day - strategic location in Sanur.

- may need more warm food selection for breakfast , not just breads or western food and nasi goreng - I was invited to a cocktail but apparently the venue was changed and nobody told me.

Wonderful stay! Would visit again and would recommend to friends and family.

Loved our stay here, felt very luxurious and upmarket. Particularly loved the art, the hotel feels carefully curated and like a museum. The breakfast was amazing and the staff extremely friendly and accommodating.

Black mould on the ceiling in the bathroom, understandable considering the weather (rainy season) and open air conditions. Spa and services were expensive (didn’t use them because of this).

The staff were beyond accommodating, and the atmosphere was amazing. The location is great and within easy walking distance to everything you need and just a short stroll to the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again!

The pool staff were very friendly, though poolside service could be more attentive. Having staff approach guests around the pool would really make the pool experience even better.

The best value for money, great rooms, excellent breakfast

The property was better than the photos. The room was extremely spacious, had a lovely balcony, bed comfortable and great value for money. The gardens were incredible with a large pool. Room service was prompt and food delicious. The included breakfast was à la carte with a huge number of options. The service was amazing all the way from the airport pickup to checkout. I only stayed one night I can’t comment on the other facilities. I will return 10/10

A very comfortable and tranquil stay with great staff

Tranquil hotel in great location close to beach, shops and restaurants but feels like an oasis. We were upgraded to the suite which opens onto the swimming pool. Beautiful room with adjacent reception room of its own, traditionally decorated and very comfortable.

Very little, perhaps could have more electrical sockets in the room but otherwise it was great.

Absolutely wonderful! An exceptional experience!

Sudamala Resort was a beautiful mixture of traditional Balinese style and luxury. The staff were gracious, fun and unfailing helpful and a huge part of the charm of the place. We were met upon arrival with traditional Balinese blessings and welcome and a cool refreshing beverage. The rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed and very clean. The grounds are green and lush with flowering trees, ponds and traditional Balinese art. It has a lovely swimming pool area and yoga studio. The on site restaurant was a favorite, with breakfast lunch and dinner menus with lots of delicious choices and wonderful staff, and both indoor and outdoor seating options. We were repeat customers at the spa as well which was top notch. I highly recommend the Balinese massage. One of our group got a bad sunburn on a snorkeling trip and they got her right in within 30 minutes for a facial and a cooling body wrap specifically designed to soothe sunburns, that made a huge difference in recovery time! The resort is also located within a short walk to the beach with its own dedicated seating area on the beach. They have bicycles available for guests, umbrellas and front desk personnel are on duty 24/7. I highly recommend Sudamala Resort and happily look forward to staying with them again on our next trip to Bali.

Quality of the towels can be improved by replacing the old ones as some of them have holes or stains and do not look very fresh (even if they are clean).

Loved our stay and would definitely return.

Breakfast was excellent, one of the best during our month long stay in Bali. We especially loved the gamolin music during breakfast. I would return for this alone. The pool area was also perfect for couples or solo travelers looking for some peace and quiet.

The poolside snacks menu was a bit lacking, and unfortunately our room was nextdoor to neighbours who had dogs barking during the night.

A Wonderful Stay!

The location was perfect, with many great restaurants right in front of the hotel. What truly made our stay special were the staff. One kind staff member even helped us arrange our transfer and boat trip to the Gili Islands after our stay – such a thoughtful and helpful service! The breakfast was delicious and offered a nice variety. In the evening, the staff prepared our room for the night and even left a bedtime story on the bed – such a lovely touch. Everything was simply perfect. We felt very well taken care of and would definitely come back. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Sanur stay

Breakfast, room and pool was very good. The breakfast was a good mix with plenty of choices, the room was clean with a very comfortable bed. The night time turn down service on the room was good and would always give it another tidy up. The hotel location is only about a 5 min walk from the beach. The hotel is located in a nice street area with plenty of shops and food restaurants.

Some mornings getting a pool towel early was difficult as they did not put them out first thing. Also some mornings the pool area and pool could have old plant leaves etc around that did not get cleaned up as in previous stays when there always seemed to be a gardener sweeping and cleaning.

Lovely stay at Sudamala Resort

The resort is lovely, it comprises a large property and an elegant design. It offers a quiet oasis in the middle of a busy sea town. It's 5 minutes from the beach where it offers loungers and is surrounded by restaurants and shops. We had a large room on the ground floor with an open air bathroom and a small garden with a gazebo. It was all very elegant and airy. Breakfast was nice and the staff were very helpful, also the pool is big and welcoming.
