The lady at recpetion was lovely and super helpful. Its a cute little stay Nice and quiet The kitchen for free tea and coffee and a big fridge for storing stuff. Not far from mertasari beach and coastal walkway, not far from laundromat swastee, and restaurants a nice short stroll away. Sunshine at the pool most.of the day

The 'refreshing shower', we were informed at check in the hot water was broken, I kinda expected it would be fixed by that night.. but nooope. No hot water the whole stay but the reception lady was funny and said its not cold its 'refreshing' Not the end of the world and she said it will be fixed soon just waiting on something from Java. Room was quite small but so is the price I think a couple were having sex in the pool on the first night 🤢

Overall the room we stayed was good, but the stairs to get there are very tricky. If you have any knee problem or kids, you should avoid it. The shared kitchen is very simple and not so clean, but pretty functional. Wifi good, tv and air conditioning are good too. They have bikes to borrow, which is very handy, but check if the break is working before you use it. The woman who runs it is very kind, she prepared our breakfast one morning for 25k per person and it was good. In general this is a good cheap accommodation for this area.

The upstairs room is VERY noisy from cars and motorcycles. Day and night! The stairs are not safe. We didn’t use the pool as it didn’t feel like clean and the surrounding needs maintenance.

I've been coming here for over 10 years, and this visit the buildings felt like they're due for renovation. The walls are moulding and flaking, and while the doors have a lovely authentic character, they're quite low and a couple of guests banged their heads during my stay, worth a redesign. The room furniture could be simplified to free up more space to move around and put things down. The showers weren't very hot, and other guests experienced no hot water for a couple of days so I allowed them to use my shower. The road noise was a real problem as the property sits right on a busy corner, and traffic in the area has increased a lot over the years. It made it hard to sleep and relax. Some roof insulation to dampen the noise, and garden landscaping behind the pool to help block sound, would make a big difference. The wifi isn't great either, which made it tricky to stay connected during the stay.
