Good value for money comfy room.

Fantastic base in Sanur - will be back!

A truly beautiful hotel in Sanur. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome. The facilities were superb and clearly very well maintained. The location couldn’t have been better — easily a 10/10 — with everything we needed close by while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. Our room was perfect: comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back and would happily stay here again. Also HUGE benefit having beds available on the beach - what an added bonus!

Amazing, highly recommend.

I loved the design of the property, it was quite unique. The pool wasn't big but it was very pleasant and the greenery around it is beautiful. The staff seem really happy and they are just so friendly. It's very boutique and even though we were there at Xmas there were hardly any kids. Also, there is a mini-mart across the road, it's walking distance to some great restaurants and day spas.

It wasn't terrible but the food in the restaurant could have been better. It was clean and the staff were brilliant, it just could have been a bit more inspired. It was pretty basic.

We like everything ! The beautiful design , the most friendly staff , the delicious food of the restaurant , the atmosphere, the personal touch of decorating the room romantically for our anniversary! Location is perfect and free bikes! We had the chance to join the cooking class , it was amazing and must book it while you stay. Overall 5 star experience! Highly recommend this hotel.

Relaxed vibe, great staff and great location!

Hotel staff are so helpful and friendly, can’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable. It was our honeymoon and they got us flowers and decorated the bed. The facilities are lovely, the pool is small but there are beds at the beach. There are so many places to eat and drink around the property you don’t need to walk far to find a place, it’s also close to the beach. Would recommend this hotel 100%.

Nice hotel, quite close to beach and central parts of Sanur. Very friendly staff and nice room.

Loud music from other side of the street was off putting for me as I stayed here with my son. Other people it might not bother as it also stops at around 10/11 pm.

Perfect stay in Sanur

The staff was first class. They went above an beyond for my son's birthday - wasn't expected and was such a nice gesture. Understanding and very kind - all the front staff and receptionist as well as the restaurant and housekeeping staff. The only staff that wasn't great, was the greeter at the front. When we arrived, he just stood there and didn't offer any help. My female driver carried the luggage while I attended to my son and carry ons. When we asked him to take a photo of us, he just stared and moved slowly. Other than that, the breakfast was great, tasty and the hotel met my standards. Thank you to everyone for a great stay!

The location which was quiet and in walking distance to Sanur beach. Great to rest and enjoy the peaceful vibe rather than Kuta or Seminyak

Good Stay. Good Location. Everything is close by and easy access.

We were only there for a night. The Room was spacious and comfortable. The Bathroom was great with an open air shower and tub. The breakfast was great with made to order options. The coffee was good and the staff were friendly and nice. We had a good and comfortable stay. They were helpfull for making food for our baby also.

Highly Recommend!

We stayed at Akana Boutique Hotel in Sanur for 5 nights, and it was nothing short of amazing — even with a baby in tow! From the very beginning, the staff made sure we were comfortable. When our baby fell sick, they went out of their way to provide us with a pedestal fan and even arranged information for a doctor on call just 20 minutes away. They also kept the baby entertained while we enjoyed our meals — such a thoughtful gesture for parents. For my husband’s birthday, they arranged something special that really touched us. The hotel is impeccably clean and looks exactly like the pictures online. Despite being nearly a decade old, the property is so well maintained. The staff in the restaurant and reception are exceptionally attentive and sweet, and the room service is lightning fast. The pool looked very inviting (sadly, we couldn’t find time to use it). The in-house restaurant serves tasty food, and they even have a cute baby menu — which was a huge plus! The location is fantastic — tucked away in a quiet nook yet right in the center of Sanur. The sea, supermarkets, shopping centers, and eateries are all within walking distance. You’ll also find ATMs, medical shops, and taxi services close by, making it very convenient for families. Above all, what stood out most was the hospitality and warmth of everyone at Akana. Even the housekeeping staff were efficient and respectful. We left with full hearts and would definitely stay here again. Pros: Extremely baby-friendly Attentive and proactive staff Very accommodating and facilitative Rooms look exactly like the pictures Exceptionally well-maintained for a 10-year-old property Wonderful, caring staff across all departments Stone’s throw from the sea Shopping center close by Surrounded by many eateries (spoilt for choice!) Supermarket Sarin right across the street ATMs and medical shops nearby Great and reliable taxi service

Cons: Breakfast buffet was quite limited and repetitive, with little variety Some cabinets in the room needed minor repair (only mentioning this so you can be even better than you already are!)

Most enjoyable 5 days in our first visit to Sanur. Akana hotel was almost perfect.

Breakfast was very good with plenty of options.

We were in a ground floor room but if we were allocated to an upper level, we didn’t see a lift. Other than that observation I couldn’t fault the Akana.

Luxury feel at affordable prices with brilliant staff.

Very clean, modern and luxurious feel to the hotel. Lovely pool area. Sun loungers always available at the pool and beach. Staff are lovely and attentive. Breakfast was nice with a good range to choose from.

Sanur is more spread out than we realised so we didn’t realise how far away we would be from some restaurants etc that we wanted to try, however there are lots of great places nearby.

Bang for buck

Had a poolside room which was extremely comfortable. The outdoor shower was fantastic. The breakfast was good, with a good selection and the coffee was perfect. We did not have a bad meal at this hotel Staff were wonderful & interacted with us

There wasn't much to dislike. If anything, it's about a 10 min walk to the beach, but that's being picky. Being extra picky, maybe bigger coffee cups 🍵

Pretty hotel with exceptional staff, but meh on the value

Staff were wonderful, hotel is very lovely, room was stylish and clean, and the bathroom was amazing. They also offered to pack me a pancake breakfast since I didn't have time to eat the morning I checked out.

Definitely on the expensive side, yet the hotel is not high end by any measure. Things in the room didn't work, like the coffee machine and TV (which was mostly static despite having good channels). The doors are sliding but look like swing doors which was confusing. I am sure the staff demonstrated the door when they showed me my room, but I was exhausted and weary when I arrived and didn't remember. So when I tried to leave, I panicked thinking I was locked in. The front desk came and opened the door for me. I felt like an idiot, but she said this happens often with guests. If that is the case, they need to put a sticker on the door reminding people how to open it otherwise it is a serious fire hazard.

Perfect intimate stay

Breakfast was great lots of options for all tastes! In a quieter part of Sanur but easily walkable to the beach and plenty of restaurants, shops and spas near by!

The bed for a little hard for my liking but I prefer softer beds. The TV reception wasn’t best a lot of the wester channels kept cutting out.

Being close to the pool, the room lacked privacy, as people could see inside. Being closest to the pool exit, this meant quite a few people walked past our room. Pool was too cold. Breakfast tasted very good but lacked variety.

I loved the staff, so friendly so helpful, always asking and seeking feedback to improve and making sure our stay was pleasant. Loved the open shower and bathroom set up, loved the wifi availability and the staff’s prompt in room service. The room was nice and comfortable to stay in.

I wouldn’t even mention it since the staff resolved it on the spot but the sheets were a bit musty and had some stains but they were prompt and kind to change it and didn’t make us feel any discomfort. The food for breakfast was awesome and the staff were again lovely but we had some feedback about the room service food and they were really kind to take note of it.
