The Mavila Sanur

Beautiful, peaceful space, away from crowded beach area with lots of local warungs and excellent coffee. Food at their attached restaurant La Prissa is excellent and good value as are their in room massages and laundry service. Not as hard to cross major road as some mention, can do so at the traffic lights at the end of the street, (google maps is confusing!) You just need to be patient and understand how the traffic flows. Loved the pool in the middle of the room and the outdoor bath (and awesome shower!) Staff were really friendly and helpful.

In house restaurant had 4 functions in the 7 day time period we stayed so if you're relying on room service, it may not be available in the evenings, but lots of local places especially for traditional Balinese food or Grab is available. Functions were a bit noisy but always finished by 10 pm.

It was very nicely furnished, stylish and most importantely- clean

Location was a little annoying at times but always a quick grab ride where we wanted to go

Very big space for a family of 4 to enjoy

The swimming is so deep, very unsafe for kids or even adults. Not suitable to bring kids and stay here
