A fantastic B&B located in the heart of Llandudno.
The location of The Wilton is absolutely perfect, right by the seafront and just a short walk from the bars, restaurants and sights we wanted to visit. The hosts, Paul & Jo, were super friendly & clearly very knowledgeable about the area.
We were lucky enough to get a space in the hotel’s car park at the back, which was a real bonus as so many hotels don’t have any parking at all. The road is quite narrow, but Paul kindly came out straight away and moved his car to make parking easier for me which I really appreciated!
First impressions were good from the get-go, the exterior of the B&B is super well kept with a lovely front garden and a nice bench to sit on. I visited with my dad so we had a twin room - our room was on the second floor and was nicely decorated, spacious and clean, with an en-suite bathroom, with 1 single and 1 double bed. Jo brought us a fan when we asked, which was a real help as we were super lucky with a bit of a heatwave during our stay.
Mobile reception around Llandudno was very patchy, but the free WiFi at the hotel worked perfectly in our room (I’d seen some reviews mention problems with it, but we had no issues whatsoever). All of the other guests during our stay were super respectful too, everyone came & went quietly so there was no disruption.
Breakfast was cooked to order and excellent quality - you could tell the ingredients were all good quality & super fresh. There was also a good choice of cereals, fruit and juices to help yourself to.
We also liked that check-in was earlier than usual. Instead of waiting until the usual 3/3.30pm, we were able to check in at 1.30pm, which meant we could drop our bags off and make the most of our first day in Llandudno.
We would 100% return to The Wilton in future and would recommend it to anybody looking for somewhere to stay on your visit to Llandudno. :-)
Not really a dislike, but something future guests may want to be aware of is that all of the rooms are accessed via stairs. This wasn’t a problem for us, but if you have any mobility issues it’s worth keeping in mind before booking. Parking is also on a narrow road as mentioned, though the owners are extremely helpful if you need a hand so this again isn't a criticism but just an FYI.

Excellent stay definitely go again
We were welcomed by the owner very nice gentleman, gave us our key to first floor room and hoped we will enjoy our stay , lovely standard room small but everything we needed , beautiful shower looked brand new , the breakfast was excellent . Full English first morning, second and third breakfast I had 2 poached eggs 2 slices of bacon and tomato , then toast and tea , partner full English must say it was the best poached eggs I’ve had in a long time , lovely and tasty bacon my partner and I agree breakfast was excellent , and lovely continental as well plenty of it , cereal , yogurt , pastries , and beautiful fresh fruit salad , well done to the owners well done .
Our room was on the back of the hotel bit noisy at night , don’t need an alarm clock seagulls was all you needed for that so noisy .

The stairs were a lot but not unexpected in the UK. Wifi was hit and miss but we didn't inquire so could be our own network issue.

Breakfast to die for!
This was our first visit to this B&B, and we were really impressed. The B&B is a short walk from the sea. There aren't sea views, but you can get there very quickly - we walked on the beach each morning before breakfast. The room was very clean and comfortable, and there was also a lounge with a TV that could be used by guests, which was lovely. The breakfast was absolutely superb - the best B&B breakfast we've had in a long time. There was a good choice of cereal, fresh fruit, strawberries, prunes, with gluten free cereals available. We were asked what sort of toast we wanted, and it was then freshly made and brought to our table still warm. There was a good selection of preserves and honey. The cooked breakfast was huge and tasty - 2 pieces of bacon, sausage, egg fried bread, tomato, hash brown. The owner was very approachable and helpful. We can thoroughly recommend this B&B.
Parking there is difficult. There is no free on street parking in front of the hotel. There are spaces at the back of the hotel, along a very narrow street, and bit difficult to access. I don't think there is a lot that can be done about that, but best to be aware.

1. Very Clean Throughout 2. Excellent Breakfast, I had Poached eggs and they were perfect. 3. Able to park my car at the hotel. 4. All the guests were careful coming and going making the hotel very quiet. 5. Had to use a key on the front door making it very secure 6. Location was perfect

On arrival I was upgraded to a double room at no extra cost.
The hotel is a credit to the owners, immaculately clean, with lovely decor throughout. My room was spacious and had everything you could need.
The bed was super comfy.
Great shower and toiletries provided.
The room was serviced daily, and coffee tea etc were replenished.
For breakfast there was a great choice of yogurts, fruit, cereal, croissant, toast and marmalade, etc. The full English breakfast was lovely and the bacon was excellent. All served up with a smile!
The location is perfect, right next to the promenade and a very short walk into town.
Jo was really friendly and made me feel very welcomed. I will definitely keep returning to The Wilton in the future.

Amazing, perfect breakfast
There was nothing wrong, every where was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous and was hot when it was brought to the table, cooked perfectly. The parking was a bonus around the back of the hotel. The position was excellent. We will be staying again. Thanks
