I would definitely recommend this hotel with a couple of things you should be aware of, parking only for about 17 cars so come early or you lose out. WiFi drops in and out and with very poor reception over all of Llandudno be aware.
Now the restaurant at the hotel was second to none. The breakfast was superb so was the service in the restaurant.
Our room, which was for 2 adults and one child was huge. The bathroom was very well equipped, only complaint was our view was the car park but in fairness I didn’t ask for a sea view. Would definitely return to this hotel. Oh and the sea is literally just over the road.

Unfortunately, the hotel was very disappointing and caused us quite a few inconveniences. First of all, the carpets are extremely old and dirty, with stains everywhere. They really need to be replaced with a more practical flooring that can actually be cleaned properly.
Our room was also affected by constant noise from the restaurant ventilation system, as well as the smell of food. The reception area and the exterior of the hotel look stylish, but unfortunately the rooms themselves feel dated and are not particularly clean.
Another major issue is the lack of Wi-Fi. There was no working Wi-Fi in the rooms, lobby or restaurant, and Vodafone mobile reception was also practically nonexistent. It genuinely felt as though we had travelled back to the Victorian era. Even the television was basically useless and felt more like a radio than a TV.
On the positive side, the location is good, and there is free parking behind the hotel if you arrive early enough to get a space.
I was also very surprised that we had to pay for breakfast for our five-year-old child during the summer holidays. In many other hotels we have stayed at, breakfast for young children has either been free or cost around £1.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. For the price, I would much rather stay at one of the budget hotel chains, where the rooms are at least usually clean, comfortable and functional. We left feeling that the hotel simply did not offer value for the money we paid.
