Martin makes a great breakfast and is friendly.

The bed frame is a bit squeaky if you know what I mean.

The bedroom was smaller than we expected

Martin is a brilliant host and so warm and so generous with his time and effort. He makes a lavish breakfast - and the home made jams are amazing. You can even buy a jar to take home. Special touches made the room I stayed in really special - the carefully chosen art on the wall, the fancy cushions, the beautiful tray for the tea things, the leather box for the hair dryer. There are interesting books in a basket on antique dresser on the landing. You can even use the microwave and fridge on another landing, if you want to - and there is garden furniture out the front to relax on. Inside, the public spaces are a window on the Victorian age - lovely china, antique glass fronted cabinets, handsome rugs. Thank you, Martin and see you next time.

All good. I wouldn't say a word against anything. My only issue was that I'm allergic to animal fur. But for anyone travelling with a pet, that wouldn't trouble them.

Lovely stay. Great host, very comfortable and great location.
