Friendly staff, good options for bars, quiet areas and entertainment
Room on 5th floor with peeling wood chip wallpaper in the bathroom and poor shower head.

Breakfast and staff were outstanding. Very welcoming and attentive. Beautiful view of sea.
The creaky floorboards, the room had a lovely sea view but no seating area like other people had in hotel for balcony, some had astro turf that looked effective. Needs attention to detail bathroom was clean but the bath was marked and needs updating. Need more pillows in bedroom only one pillow each.

Hotel location is excellent close to the pier and short walk to town centre
Hotel is very dated and basic, shower was tiny. You can tell this was the grand hotel in the 1900's but this is way past its glory days
