It’s a nice place to get away to good location and entertainment was good

Entertainment was good and location

We didn’t have a mirror in our room to get ready for the daytime the nighttime it made it difficult. There’s one in the bathroom but you can’t use plugs in the bathroom for a hairdryer ,I asked for a mirror at reception, but didn’t hear anything back And I managed to get a small handheld one off one of the cleaning staff, which was nice of her ,I’m sure the hotel is aware that it doesn’t have a mirror in room 105 and it should be sorted so there’s no other people struggling thank you.

Location

Wallpaper falling of walls and ceiling. Handles missing on draws filler on walls not finished poor mattress only one bedside cabinet. Bathroom needs attention. For the price not worth money

The place was disgusting, the room was falling apart, we got about 2 hours sleep as the patio doors rattled all night long and the breeze coming through them, we were freezing, we tried to stack furniture up against them but it didn’t help at all. We asked for another quilt as the one on the bed barely covered it and they said they had no spare quilts/blankets, we were ready to leave at 3 am. We only booked here as our usual hotel was fully booked as it was valentines night, this was the only place with availability… I now know why. Absolutely shocking hotel, the worse I have ever been to and I have been to many, I’d rather sleep in my car than at that place.

Disappointed this time

Great location

Despite but hotel being virtually empty. having stayed there many times last year. Went for my birthday. Earth hotel was empty as for a sea view and was refused instead.Given the room opposite the lifts, which was noisey. Manageress was not the most helpful to say.The least. Overall tidiness of stairs and landings add litter.. Shame disappointing stay list time. Staff were doing their best and a shout out to ellie, who was polite and made an effort on reception. Room was basic. And noisy at night, adjacent rooms, noise from televisions would recommend earplugs. The window had no luck, so would make a noise with the wind.

Good budget hotel

This was a good budget hotel. Food was ok. Entertainment brilliant. The bed was comfy.

There were faults. My single room was in need of decorating and upgrading. The main light wasn't working and it felt cold. There was no bedside light or shower.

The location with wonderful views. Powerful shower. Provision of tea making items including biscuits! Friendly, helpful staff.

Very enjoyable thank you

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay from 17/11/25 to 20/11/25. This is the second stay with you. I was working as I support adults with learning disabilities and I brought an elderly lady for her to have a few days away. Your hotel was perfect for her with everything. She mostly enjoyed the evening entertainment and joined it with singing and dancing. The staff were very helpful and included her in all the songs, etc. We hopefully will be coming again and possibly for a little longer. Thank you to all the staff for being so friendly. The food was very good and lots of choice on offer. Thank you for making us welcome.

The hotel is run down. OK it's old Parking only available for a tiny fraction of guests. The premier room was dowdy and worn. Three electric appliances fed from a double socket Meant moving the furniture to alternate between kettle coffee machine or fridge. Double bed, squeaky springs. Duvet too small for matress. The evening meal consisted of a choice between pork loin steaks that could be used to sole shoes or some sort of fish cake. Chips or boiled potatoes. Mushy carrots still in warm water and cauliflower that managed to be mushy florets whose stalks were under cooked. Dessert consisted of a choice of three types of sponge cake. Two of which, despite looking like chocolate sponge and possibly salted caramel, managed to taste of nothing in particular. Breakfast however, by contrast was a delight with a much more varied choice. Properly cooked.
