The only thing I can possibly say is that staying on/near top floor were the several flights of stairs, but I need the exercise so there's always a positive! 😅

Was a bit cold during the night time , and the shower head stand was broken so had to hold it. Bit loud during the Saturday night but we was above the lounge bar.

The room was cheap, but it was huge. Plenty of space. Plenty of facilities. Very comfortable bed. We were thoroughly happy throughout our stay. Breakfast was cooked superbly. The staff were all lovely and friendly and very welcoming. It was nice to see such a lovely team. We will definitely be coming back and we will definitely be staying here again

The not so New Alexander

The location was good and the staff I dealt with were friendly

The hotel is above a pub The reception and kitchen which provides food for the pub are on the 1st floor so smell of kitchen cooking is throughout the corridors. There were 65 stairs to climb to get to my room no 9 The room was ok, not so much the bathroom very dated. Clock on wall not working hot water took 2 minutes to get hot. Sink taps need attention, toilet seat lose, kettle in room the element looked rusty & old water still left in kettle Cracked bathroom floor tiles & what looked like mold on ceiling Coming back to hotel on Saturday night around 9.30pm the only entrance is also the pub entrance so loads of people outside smoking In a nutshell Staff friendly Good location Cheap Poor standard of decor & furnishings in rooms & hallways En-suit bathroom poor. Would not stay again

Thoroughly enjoyed the short stay. Landudno is wonderful and this hotel provided a good base at a very competitive rate.

Excellent location and good value for money. Staff were helpful.

Noisy party on the Saturday night however it is not unreasonable to expect such things if you book a room in a hotel with a bar and party room!

Location was excellent. Staff were friendly. Room was reasonably sized. Good choice of food in restaurant downstairs.

Our room was on the top floor so lots of stairs. No good if you have mobility issues. Water pressure from taps and shower was poor. Bathroom/shower were small. Room was cold even though radiator was on and there was a draft from the window.

Central hotel to stay with visiting the venue Cymru, friendly staff and a large comfortable bedroom. A beautiful church across from the hotel, and a resident seagull visited in the morning, which was a lovely reminder of life by the sea

AVOID THIS HOTEL

Location perfect.

Avoid this place. Everywhere is dirty. Some rooms smell like a public toilet. Bed sheets probably haven't been changed, toilets haven't been cleaned. Price is good, but everything is in a terrible condition. Staff is very unfriendly... reception looks like trashbin. AVOID.

Weekend away

Great location. Nice big en-suite room. Good price. Clean sheets, fresh towels and mini toiletries.

No hot water in the morning. No control over the heating. Was offered a hair dryer, but it didn't appear. Plumbing was noisy. Very dated, but expected for the price. Personal dislike for toilet paper dispensers that can jam leaving you without paper.

Spoilt by other guests not being considerate.

Location is perfect, parked outside as we arrived after 6 which meant we could park till 10.30am next morning. At a gig at motorsport lounge so only needed somewhere to sleep. So it was perfect for that.

Ready for an update in bathroom. Otherwise clean and comfortable. Lovely big windows with good black out blinds. Nice view of town. Our stay was spoilt by people returning to hotel at 1.30am and then proceeding to argue for 3 hours in the room above. Please ask guests to be considerate to others as sound travels in these old buildings.

Location excellent. Staff were mainly friendly.

Reception area was messy. Carpets not that clean. Leaking shower. Took ages for hot water to come through. Clients were typical of a low cost hotel, wearing football shirts,drinking,singing,music blaring out the front of the hotel.i think the owner has aimed at the cheaper end of the market, hotel from the outside looks nice and I think if a load of money was thrown at it, there would be a different standard here. Pity,it was ok for somewhere to your head down for the night but its not great. We arrived early at Llandudno and had lunch at a nearby restaurant, got talking to the owner and when we replied where we were staying their face dropped and said "oh good luck" says it all really. So long as you go there expecting all the above then you won't be disappointed. I'm not a snob but reception woman didn't acknowledge us and the whole place needs mony thrown at it.

lovely room, comfortable bed, very clean, great value for money, convenient location. Staff were really really nice. Had a nice dinner in the bar, i wouldn't call it a restaurant as such.

There were a lot of stairs and no lift. First flight of stairs tatty don't be put off by this. Great value place.
