Great breakaway in a friendly hotel

Landudno beautiful hotel a disgrace and dirty.

The whole stay in the hotel was awful. We felt like we had been put in an old unused broom cupboard. It was dirty and uncared for with marks and holes in the door and on thexwalls.

Good:Excellent Breakfast. Room and cleanliness. Bad: breakfast room too small couldnt always get seats or had to wait, only had breakfast twice from 4 days.

Breakfast as above. Had coach party staying paying 4 days for price of 3. They laid on dinner for that party, but for full paying guests the restaurant was closed. Was told I had to bring passport even though I was coming from England, but when I booked in no one asked for it. No heating in room even though it was 12 degrees outside and cold.

We had a brilliant stay, managed to get around as location is central so not too much walking.

the hotel is in an excellent position, close to everything we needed. For the price we paid it was excellent value for money.

The rooms could do with some decorating, but all the facilities in the room were good. Bathroom was excellent. The view from the room however, was awful, looked out onto really bad back yards of this and other properties

The location is brilliant. The staff are friendly and the breakfast was excellent.

The room stunk on arrival, really strong and we couldn’t place exactly what it was but it wasn’t very nice. Didn’t like how you have to lock the door when going out so if you forget your room is open to anybody.

Just felt extremely comfortable and quite homely. Super little room with excellent facilities. Quiet and surprisingly little road noise to say the window was open. Kind and considerate host on reception. Lovely gentleman. Fantastic breakfast. Loved the stay. Will be back!!

The Great Scottish White Heather Hotel

The hotel was situation at a very local position for the shops and beach. The breakfast was a gr8 buffet. The bedroom was superb with two single beds. Also shower all the bits and pieces like tea, coffee with a kettle as well. The staff were very friendly and happy to help with anything we require.

Lovely hotel all beit a bit dated, it was clean, beds were very comfortable. My only moan is the bathroom nowhere to put anything down.only the issue with the bathroom

Secondtime we have stayed here - perfect for our needs

Fantastic location close to amenities and the promenade. Very comfortable twin beds with tea/coffee making facilites.Travelling with elderly mum so very appreciative of the lift. Breakfast was excellent - all freshly cooked and lots of choice.

Nothing - obviously it could be updated and with entertainment in the evening however this did not detract from our stay and would increase the cost.

No parking, we had to drive around for 15 mins to find promenade parking. The wallpaper had been partially pulled off the bedroom walls and room was in need of re-decorating, single bed was squeaky.

Clean, comfortable & ideally situated for everything!

This hotel is ideally situated centrally for the sea, promenade, shops, attractions and amenities. The hotel is clean throughout, the rooms were cleaned everyday and all the staff were very friendly. Although the standard twin room we had was compact, it was adequate and the beds were very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was brilliant with plenty of choice of hot and cold food. We were extremely satisfied and would certainly recommend it for a central stay in Llandudno.

The shower was far too compact with only bare lukewarm water. I am only small and really struggled. My much larger husband could not close the door and couldn't turn around in it. Also the wash basin was one of these modern small bowls which are neither use nor ornament for having a wash.

Will be returning

The location of the White Heather Hotel is excellent. Close to the prom, pier and the shops. The staff were really helpful and pleasant, the room was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable, the decor was more 80's but that certainly didn't detract from the positives, as decor is a personal taste. The breakfast is a help yourself and was both tasty and hot, although the coffee machine was not the best, again only my opinion.
