Lots of positives food excellent , clean but the front door very noisy banging shut all day and evening 😖

The curtains were too light and let the light in from outside street lights. The curtains were also hanging off the rail. There was a sweaty sock under our bed as well.

Nice little place close to local amenities

Friendly staff, close proximity to pier, easy walking distance to main shops.

Meal times were a bit restrictive, had to ask for a fan as I found the room too warm - but this is just a personal opinion.

Great location. Really good value for money. Staff were friendly and reasonable. Not nosey at all which can happen in Hotels ! Had some trouble finding concierge at times bit still nothing to complain about.

The staff were brilliant and the breakfast was spot on

Unfortunately they had a leak in the heavy downpour and had to turn off the water which was a minor inconvenience But it wasn't a problem

Would recommend

Paul was very helpful when we were late by a whole day arriving. An issue we had with the radiator he resolved in minutes. The breakfast choices and variety was excellent and waiting staff were also were helpful.

Room could have been slightly larger but was fine for the trip we made.

Weekend stay.

Great location, lovely staff, good night's sleep in a comfortable bed, tasty and olentiful breakfast. Second year we stopped here. Would definitely recommend.👍👍

Breakfast was excellent. Good quality,great choice and in a very pleasant location. Coffee was superb. I ate in the hotel every evening. Food was hot and tasty and a good price. It would have been stupid not to. All the staff were pleasant and Jane the manager was extremely proud of the hotel.

The hotel is not suitable for anyone who has walking difficulties. Steps up to the front door as well as in the corridors leading to the bedrooms. Has a lift but would not fit a wheelchair.

On the whole we all enjoyed our stay and would stay again

The location was excellent as the room myself and my cousin were in had a superb view of the Llandudno. My Dad's room was at the back of the hotel so his was not as nice. The lounge downstairs was very comfortable. We would like to say your Night watchman was brilliant. Introduced himself and very amenable.

Hand soap on the bathroom sink. Cheaper breakfast cost. When I booked I thought breakfast was included but it was not. Teabags etc in room to be more stocked up. There should have been some heating on when we arrived to the room as it is October and was chilly but eventually figured out how to put the heating on and it was warm but like I say should have already been on

Warm welcome and friendly

It was a very warm welcome Jane the manager so friendly. Our roomwas ready as soon as we arrived and as a surprise id mentioned my mums 90th birthday and there was a lovely surprise gone above and beyond. Food was excellent room comfortable with coffee tea facilities

Rooms too basic and in need of an update . Bathroom a bit grubby . Ladies toilets not cleaned for 2 days with poo stains . Breakfast would have been better served not buffet

The property was at a very good location right opposite the pier . Rooms were small but very clean .

Check out was very early at 10am Not much variety with the breakfast just basic . Could have done with some fruit and croissants . Parking was a nightmare to find being on a main road only meters which was always full .

Disappointing stay.

Our sea view room was very small, very small bathroom, sink was in the bedroom, good tea & coffee facilities, plenty of storage, very small tv on wall, we were disturbed when a woman with her child walked into our room while we were sat on the bed, obv had wrong room, but had keycard which opened our room which was strange. We slept with chair up against door just incase it happened again, esp when there’s no lock on the inside of the door.

I was Gluten Free and although I told The Bay Tree in advance there was no Gluten Free Cereal or Bread available on the first morning although I did get some toast on the last morning. No biscuits in the room to have with tea/coffee. One bedroom was fine but the other was not up to the same standard.

Not so Cheap but cheerful

The location was good. The barman was friendly and staff at breakfast were also friendly. However, walked straight in and no one checked if we were booked in for breakfast or not. Breakfast was good. Great variety and good value for money. Room nice and clean. Great view of the sea.

Staff not overly attentive at check in. Could see we were waiting but continued to chat in bar then eventually walked through. Furniture in room very basic and dated. Definitely needs upgrading. Television far too small and needs an upgrade. Like something out of the early 2000s. For what it cost for a modern TV, a quick fix.
