Welcome warm and friendly. Helped with luggage and room excellent. When asked what I would like for breakfast went and bought porridge specially. Would highly recommend The Arga.

Excellent stay, friendly, clean and perfect from beginning to end.

From the moment of arrival, the owners Betty & Ian went above and beyond for us. The property was spotlessly clean, the beds were so comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The little extra touches of pots of fruit and personalised breakfast options was really appreciated. The location was perfect, we booked at a very busy weekend (Conwy half marathon) but found we were still within 10 mins of all the attractions in Llandudno and a 10 minute drive from Conwy.

I couldn't fault it.

We were made to feel very welcomed in a warm, homely setting

The hosts, Betty and Ian were so warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Having young children in our group, once they were asleep, the adults could get a take-away and eat and chat in the dining room, still available should the children need us. The beds were very comfortable and everything so clean. It was a delightful stay.

What is not to like about agar house..rooms..hospitality..the welcome and the lovely breakfast...would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

Tranquil haven at Agar House

A fabulous place to stay Betty and Ian are perfect hosts. Agar house is spotlessly clean and the breakfasts are freshly cooked and piping hot. Tailored to your individual need nothing is too much trouble. A huge advantage over bigger hotels who often have buffet style queue up breakfasts. Another benefit of Agar house is the location with a stunning garden which is a tranquil heaven in a quiet residential area. We found the location ideal as we could walk to West shore or North shore the town or the station quickly and easily.With many great restaurants within walking distance. I've stayed in many hotels and B and B's in Llandudno and this is by far the best run by wonderful hosts 10 out of 10

Perfect！

I absolutely loved this place! The location is excellent—very close to the train station, yet peaceful and quiet all around. The courtyard is beautifully maintained, and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing! Most importantly, the hosts were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. It’s a place we’ll always remember fondly!

Surpassed all expectations.

Some hosts deserve an 11 out of 10. Betty deserves this for so many reasons. a. Friendliness and sense of humour when faced with my nonsense. b. Going above and beyond to provide an enjoyable experience c. Insisting on driving me to the railway station after an excellent breakfast and dealing with my forgetfulness with a smile

Lovely owners! So friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was really good! Kids had a brill stay too. Thanks again.

The only slight problem was the shower on the top floor, we couldn’t really get the right temperature, it was either too hot or cold. But it wasn’t a major problem, as we were only there for one night.

Lovely homely place

Lovely hosts, made a fuss of our children, advised us to let them know which breakfasts were for the children and they would give them warm plates not hot ones. Our 2 year old spilled water from his bottle on the chair and Betty was so kind and told us not to worry. We would love to stay again and recommend this lovely place.

could not have done better staying in a posh Hotel !

Fantastic choice of breakfast cooked perfectly by Ian pot of tea was best we have had on any holiday .usually came with a funny story .bed linen and towels perfect ,modern shower, tea coffee hot chocolate and mint biccys plentyfull in room and topped up daily ,Sat in Garden one day catching bit of sun out pops Betty with pot of tae to enjoy . Where else would you get that sort of Hospitality .Not your usual B&B hosts ,these two are exceptional.The do not do evening meals but you are welcome to use facillities in dining room if you have a take away "where else would this be offered"???

Great location, quiet and peaceful but very centrally located as well. Friendly hostess. The room was clean, modern, v comfortable bed with all the mod cons. Breakfast was generous and really well cooked. Many thanks.

Ticking off a huge list of options for breakfast. I can understand it for cooked food, but having to tick off for things like tea, coffee and juice, toast etc, I felt was a little inflexible.

A real gem of a place with amazing hosts.

Absolutely fantastic hosts, Ian and Betty made us feel welcome from the start of our stay. Great with our kids who really opened up to them. Facilities are fantastic, cleanliness is really good. The breakfast was first class with such a wide selection and premium produce. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an exceptional stay in North Wales.
