The Hilary was a great base for us to walk around the resort and then return to rest.

We had the Welsh Breakfast which was delicious and well cooked, can't beat a well cooked sausage and runny yolk with the egg.

Stayed here on several occasions and it doesn’t disappoint.

Always a delightful breakfast at The Hilary and kippers is an option on the menu, which I love. The location is peaceful and not too far to walk into the centre of Llandudno.

Very Good trip

Cleanliness-This is most important to me and everything I saw was clean. Breakfast was very good,and there was a wide choice. The owners were very busy on August bank holiday but still very friendly and chatted for a while when we were leaving.

The shower-You had to choose between heat or power. The location-It was nice to be in a quieter area but sometimes seemed a little far from main Llandudno.

Relaxing weekend in llandudno

Very central to town and local walks. Pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Fiona was a good host very friendly giving us suggestions on how to spend our day. Great breakfast to start the day.

Average for the money, too noisy for me and not friendly enough.

The room decor was nice, the bed very comfy. There was a fridge which was a handy surprise and the hair dryer was useful. There was a full length mirror also good.

The shower was unpredictable. The hosts played loud music from 8am sharp and also during the afternoon which meant you could not have a lie in or an afternoon nap. We were in room 4, maybe other rooms had less noise as this room was directly above the kitchen where the music was. The host's communications were a bit blunt which was off putting. No actual hello when we arrived, I said my name and my booking and reply was "I know" then a grilling about why I hadn't taken my husband's name. Bit military run ie felt like you might get told off if you didn't comply with ordering breakfast by 9pm the night before. Room was hot but to be fair I did not ask for a fan. Neither did I actually complain about the music as I did not think that would go down well, it was just their way of enjoying their work place I guess. It wouldn't bother some people, just not for me, I had gone for peace and quiet.

Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly and cooked an excellent breakfast in the morning. The room was spacious and clean and tidy.

This feedback is not to downgrade your rating. As this is your business and is appreciated by many,here is a friendly feedback to improve the comunication with your customer , to respect the customer and to follow and apply your internal rules without raising voice and moaning. Cons: 1. Small volume of water through the shower head (you have installed the shower head with the biggest water reduction, resulting in washing ourselves under water vapours ). It must be understood that to remove sand, creams and soap from the skin, water jet is needed . I am also for water saving, but this trick exceeded my imagination. 2. Cold/poor communication with all of us within the house. Sometimes, how are you? how did you sleep? was all good?.. .makes the difference 3. Voice /tonality ( talking about lady owner) towards us. We are the customer, we paid for the service. If your own rules says a takeaway can be consumed only in the eating room, then don t feel disturbed /offended when we are looking for you and ask this permission. If your own rules says, the bedsheets will be changed/arranged as per schedule, please don t skip it . Thank you.

Attitude of hosts. Neither warm nor friendly. Should have been warned about 30 steps to room before booking as we are elderly. Shower and bathroom light needed attention. Room not serviced one day. Complaints met rudeness.
