    The Lauriston Court hotel is a nice hotel that was clean with friendly and helpful staff. Pretty much as good as can be hoped for in a Victorian building. Good room facilities with a great breakfast. Would stay here again.

    No parking and no air conditioning despite advertising this on their website. Bit run down and could do with a lick of paint. Room had fire exit door which led onto horrible rusty stairs covered in cigarette ends. Was woken up at 6.45am by the kitchen staff laughing and talking really loudly on fire escape. Rooms were clean, although could have done with some redecorating. Nice touch adding marshmallows , hot chocolate and bottles of water. Breakfast was nice. Staff were friendly
