Very cold and damp weekend and that was inside the room

Location was fine and bedding was clean

Never put the heating on and it was cold, rooms were damp and the bedding was damp in the morning, curtains black from damp.

For the price, we had a really lovely stay. Would highly recommend.

The property was exceptionally clean and tidy, there wasn’t a spec of dirt or dust anywhere from the front door to the top floor. The beautiful smell when you walk in to the house is an excellent touch. There is also ambient piano music playing in the downstairs reception hall which gives it a luxury spa feeling. The host was personable and very chatty and took us up to our room (number 9 on the Third floor). The room was very light and airy with a dual aspect and views of the mountains. It had a king size bed and a small pullout single bed. The king size bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bedding was clean and stylish. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room and there was even a tray on the landing with extra supplies should we need them. The private bathroom, although very compact, was beautifully kitted out with toilet, shower and sink, and plenty of fluffy towels. We had two lounge chairs and a large flat screen tv in the room too which was a lovely touch. Overall, the room was very stylish and extremely clean and fresh. The location of the property is on a quiet residential street with plenty of on-street parking but within a 10 minute walk to the sea front. A great location for a base while going out exploring. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back to Wales as we all fell in love with it.

The only minor things we could find with the room were: The shower, although nice and powerful, was extremely hot, even on the lowest heat setting- our 12 year old could only just bear it, so children any younger might struggle with the temperature. The single bed was a bit uncomfortable and the headboard wasn’t really fitted on it properly so our daughter struggled to get comfy in the evening. There was only 1 pillow per person supplied which for some people is not enough. These are only minor negatives that would be easy for them to rectify and it didn’t spoil our stay at all.

Lovely and clean room. The beds were very comfy, I think they had a memory foam topper. There was lots of wardrobe space too. The people who owned the villa came in half way and emptied our bins and topped up our tea store

The pressure in the shower was a bit low however still usable - it just took longer to wash my hair!

This is just a little niggle: - might be useful to have a plastic non-slip mat to put in the shower as the shower base was a little slippy. [People of our vintage can slip so easily, stepping in/our of the shower!]

We were on the top floor and had a view of The Great Orme. Liked the dual aspect windows. Very quiet. Good location for town, just a few minutes walk. Easy to park.

An excellent place to stay for a weekend away

Greeted at front door by Paul and Christine and made to feel very welcome. Upgraded as a guest had not turned up. Something they did not have to do. Room was exceptionally clean and well maintained and bed was very comfortable. Just a really really nice stay

Excellent location..away from the town centre but close enough for easy walking access. Room was clean and airy, bathroom was excellent, nice selection toiletries and towels. Abundance of tea and coffee in the room and close at hand if you ran out. Host was welcoming but left us to enjoy our stay without intruding

Our weekend break

The overall experience was exceptional we went for a weekend to relax and that's exactly what we did. The owners were lovely it definitely is a place that feels like home. We will definitely be returning again soon. We didn't have breakfast as we love a full English and only offered a continental breakfast which wasn't for us but we found a cafe nearby which was reasonable.

There isn't anything that we could fault with this place. The entire weekend from the room to the people who own it all, I can say, " You have a lovely place and are lovely people, and we will be back soon.
