This is a lovely bed and breakfast in a beautiful historic villa very close to the train station and the tourism office of Tours from where the daily tours to the castles of Loire Valley leave. The host is extremely gracious and congenial. Our room was spacious, had hardwood floors and many amenities including a state-of-the-art shower. The breakfast was good, and although some people may find it a bit pricey, all things considered, we would highly recommend it.

I've always wanted to stay in a proper urban French home and La Maison Jules was it. Behind the subtle exterior door lies a charming, sophisticated B&B that was well appointment, chic, warm, and well located in Tours.
That I only had one night to stay there.

A great place to stay. Our hostess, Alexandra, could not have been helpful in advising on places to visit and finding bars and restaurants while in Tours. And the house is beautiful and spotlessly clean. We can also recommend the breakfast!
The only thing we would have liked is some air-conditioning in the room, however we do understand that we were visiting at a particularly hot time which is not very usual.
