Everything good and comfortable am except for the terrible breakfast

Staff, cleanliness, family room

Breakfast was unbecoming of Novotel. It’s not that bacon, omelette were not fresh, they looked as if they were due. Baco, particularly did not taste good. Cakes and bakery, just the same, with the feeling they had been serves more than once before. I think it was due to being Sunday. Last tone o stayed there it was April and breakfast was great. I hope they read this because a good breakfast for staying overnight is essential for travellers.

Sofa bed is terrible, room is ok.

The location in the center of Tours is Good plenty of shops and restaurants close. And right next to the trainstation.

We had a sofa bed and a double bed. The sofa bed for my son is terrible. A big gap runs along the full length of what is supposed to be the bed. It is uncomfortable. The solution provided was to put a a folder blanket over the crack. The receptionist tried to help but could only offer a similar room with a crack that was maybe less wide. It is peculiar to say it politely how a 4 star hotel can pick a sleep sofa like this and even more surprising the cannot be bothered to purchase matrasses to correct this mistake. The rooms are nice but resting Well is more important. Will return to Tours but not to this hotel.

Location near station practical.

Air conditioning didn’t work. Night times stuffy & too warm. When reported, we were told just to open the window. There for three nights. Never fixed Smoking in rooms near us filled corridors & sometimes came into our room. Couldn’t see No Smoking signs but in this day and age it’s unacceptable

Thank you Novotel for a great stay!

The hotel is minutes away from the train station which is very convenient if you're catching the train from Paris. The reception staff are very friendly and spoke perfect English. The rooms are spacious, the bed is incredibly comfy (loved the pillows), the bathrooms are recently renovated and the Rituals products are a nice touch. There's a decent size fridge in the room. Breakfast was great too. It exceeded our expectations.

The wifi was poor. It just about worked on my laptop but my phone could barely connect to it. It would've been great to have some streaming capabilities on the tv - such a huge tv but nothing to watch.

Great stay with a very nice staff in a very central location !

The staff was very nice, helpful and very professional at all steps of our journey from check-in, to sharing insights and suggestions around Tours and ultimately check-out. The room was extremely clean and modern, soundproof and comfortable for the whole family. Definitely good value for money !

Every thing close to the train station which is a huge plus. The rooms are big bathrooms are nice.

The wifi was terrible. The manager knew there was a problem but couldn't fix it. Is much money as we pay a night. The wifi should be perfect. Get someone in to fix it. We had to have our windows open because it was too warm in the room, which in return you here everything outside. The bar, if you could call it that was bad they don't know how to mix drinks. They don't have a restaurant it's just for breakfast. The refrigerator was not very cool.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, very pleasant and helpful personnel at the reception. Convenient parking directly under the hotel. Relatively short (10-15 minutes) walk to the old town. Many small restaurants in the neighborhood.

Unfortunately the manager decided to switch the airco off and switch the heating on though it was 20+ degrees so it was unbelievable warm inside the room. Very poor management. Rest of staff was nice.
