Good choice for an overnight stop in Tours

Lovely personnel, they were very communicative ahead of our stay, and accommodating: they even let us keep the car in the parking after check-out, as they were not fully booked. I appreciated the ammenities provided, including dish soap.

The bed could have been a bit more comfortable.

Basic stay - good for a visit

As I arrived in the dark and had never been to Tours before I had a hard time finding it. It was a Sunday and hence nobody at reception. I need to check my booking to get the access-code into the building. Inside looked like a student/univerisity accomodation - it smelled, it was rather run-down and basic. I finally retreived by key with the fob for the garage (very steep and narrow - I drive a SUV....) but it was well signed and lit. The room itself was as described on the internet. The kitched had everything one needed and the bathroom was adequat... a bit on the dirty side ... but one gets accustomed. The bed was VERY comfortable and the blackout curtains a MUST as the 'hotel' is right at the tracks/train-station. The area it is in does not feel very safe and there was nowhere to walk my dogs, except the streets. The old town and river are 10 minutes away and a beautiful area to walk - during the day. Breakfast was simple but had me covered. The coffee could be improved but that is my preference.

Check-in and reception area rather run down. No personnelle on Sunday after 4pm.

Super-comfy studio with balcony near Tours train station

Studio a good size for 1 person, and could serve for two. Lots of storage space. Excellent lighting. Balcony was a huge plus--outdoor seating and made the unit seem larger Landry on the property was convenient. Desk staff very helpful and friendly--hat tip to Karen.

Location was good for me, as I needed to be near the train station, but might not suit someone wanting to be in the center--about a 15 minute walk to the Cathedral. Nearest restaurant was less than 10 minutes away, similar distance to a grocery store. Surrounded by business hotels, not much charm in the immediate neighborhood.

Spacious room with AC and kitchenette area. Comfortable twin beds. Great location a few minutes walk to Tours train station. Friendly staff. Good breakfast with a variety of options.

It was difficult to take a shower because the showerhead was so low in the tub. I had to hold it with one hand while showering.

A handy hotel at a fair price but maybe better to pay a few euros extra.

A residence that included a small well equipped kitchen with a decent toilet and shower.. A five minute walk from the train station. Although the rail tracks were just outside my bedroom window the sound insulation was good so the trains were reasonably quiet. The staff are friendly.

The double bed was smaller than I am used to, and the ceiling light was a bare bulb. We could hear the husband and wife upstairs enjoying themselves. No night staff, which is difficult when arriving late and french is not your language.

The Hotel is a Budget Hotel, Very Tired and has imposed a Bond payment of 70Euros on all Customers.

The beds are small but comfortable

The Hotel had changed hands SOLD) since we had made our booking and the new owners have implemented Credit Card BOND payments (70 Euro) from all customers before you receive your Keys. To be refunded at end of say on clearance from Housekeeper. The Hotel is a long way to the City Centre - Need to take Public Transport. The Hotel is old and tired and the rooms are cold with no Central Heating just an Air-Con that blows cold air most of the time

Good location near restaurant area, Rue Colbert. Immediate payment required but friendly enough. Attractive city. Helpful advice to find parking nearby. No short term stopping place outside hotel. Nice twice weekly market quite nearby.
