overall very satisfied with our stay and felt it was ideal for an overnight stop

Clean and compact rooms . very comfortable beds , friendly proprietor and staff plus an excellent little restaurant with good value breakfasts and meals

limited local attractions and alternative restuarants during our short stay as Tuesdays seemed like a half day closing!

What we liked most: the restaurant Wok Asie ST AVERTIN FRA (AYCA)

-The bathroom is small; and there was not enough shower gel. -There is one large bedroom. -We did not book breakfast. -Parking near the hotel is difficult. What was disappointing: the accommodation is an old building.

A great overnight stay with a very good restaurant onsite.

The beds were comfortable and the room was very quiet overnight. The restaurant on-site was great, good food and lovely service.

Nothing. It’s worth noting that most of the staff spoke no English, but were very patient with my basic French and we got by, so make sure you know a few phrases or know how to use a translator on your phone.

The room was spacious and clean. Plenty of towels and hot water. The bar was busy with locals with a friendly atmosphere.

It wasn't a smooth check in as the man didn't understand English and our French was not good. But in the end, We got a suitable room.

The person who checked me in, seemed more interested in the TV, than telling me my room number, WiFi code, breakfast time etc. WiFi was not working. Bathroom was tiny.

Exceptional

We stayed here for 1 night as a family of 5 on a stop over for our trip down to the Dordogne. The room was huge, nicely decorated and I would say looks much better than the photos on the website! We were really impressed and couldn't believe it is only a 2 star hotel. Very good value for money. The Bathroom was also lovely. We had the breakfast in the morning which we felt was more than reasonable for the price we paid. The gentleman who showed us to our room and served us breakfast was friendly and polite. We would not hesitate to return here and would definitely recommend to others.

A quiet and comfortable stay. Easy access to town and leisure facilities. Lovely community lake and cafe within walking distance. Just what you need after a hectic drive. Very comfortable beds,good access for anyone with disabilities.Great bathroom and toilet access for a wheel chair . Very obliging staff, interesting rugby anecdotes from the proprietor.Would definitely use again as an excellent stopover traveling to and from South west France and Spain.

Would have liked an outside seating area on the court yard.
