Staff were very friendly and out was right in the centre of the town, beside the train and bus station. Parking was extremely easy and good value for money.

Wonderful location!

The location of this Hotel is absolutely wonderful!. It is within feet of the train station. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. Everything is within easy walking distance. The rooms were quite nice.

The shower stall was really tiny. I'm a tall and not overly large person, but when I would bend over to scrub my legs, my butt would turn off the shower, LOL!

Very charming interior, staff was nice and the location was very ideal.

We arrived at 3:30 pm and the staff at check in told us that the room wasnt ready, while checking in was possible from 3 pm. Luckily there was a room available. The room was very noisy, we could hear people walking in the halls and we could hear footsteps from the floor above us. In the morning we got breakfast in the room which was scheduled at 9am, but the coffee was cold and the eggs were cold too, though it was known what time we wanted breakfast.

Disappointing for a 4 stars.

Staff was friendly and helpful. No fridge in the rooms, staff was kind enough to take our stuff in the staff fridge.

The pictures used on Bookings were not really representing the reality and the conditions of the hotel. The hotel certainly used to be Grand in the past. Currently it is in bad need of refreshing. It is at the margin of the "center". The modern part of the center is minutes walking away, but the historical part with all the restaurants and amenities is quite far.

Excellent location, within 3 minutes walk to Tours train station, Tours tourist office and many eateries/ shops around! Triple room was spacious for us, 3 friends travelling together.

Art deco hotel with lovely features in a great location.

This hotel has been tastefully and sympathetically renovated. Authentic and elegant. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was fabulous. The location is great, not too far into the centre of town, next to the railway and bus station, but not too noisy.

Attention to detail around the hotel is poor. Our bathroom had various loose tiles and the bar was a mess. Also the bed was a fantastic size, but the pillows were tiny and very uncomfortable.

Ideally situated close to Tours railway station. An imposing hotel facade with character, with very helpful and welcoming Reception staff. The room was a generous size and comfortable, with tea/coffee making facilities. Buffet breakfast (paid for separately) was nice.

A very nice hotel in the centre of Tours which we would use again.

Good disabled facilities in the bathroom, both the bathroom and bedroom were very spacious and comfortable. Good sized bed, and a bonus to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. A very good location withing the centre of Tours. The hotel decor was nice and very clean. The price for the pet and the parking was very reasonable.

If parking was requested via email as was the case with ourselves it would have been a good idea to have sent us a map or details of where the underground car park was. It was very difficult to find and the member of staff on duty was not too good at giving directions to it. Had we had a map in advance it would have alieviated time and unnecessarily driving around the location to find it.

Charming Stay with Character - and Kindness

We had a lovely stay here and left with big smiles on our faces. One of the biggest highlights of this hotel is how wonderfully kind and welcoming the staff are. They genuinely seem to enjoy what they do, and it made all the difference. Plus, the fact that they accept dogs is a big win. The hotel itself has loads of charm, with delightfully retro decor. It is a little worn around the edges: there is a bit of mold in the bathroom that could really use a firm encounter with bleach, and some dust hiding on top of the curtains—but nothing that cannot be forgiven. We were upgraded to a room with a stunning view of the Tours train station and a glorious sunrise to greet us in the morning. Being next to the station does mean a few colourful characters roam about at night, but we felt safe, and the area was surprisingly quiet. Location-wise, it could not be better. A short walk takes you to the magnificent Hôtel de Ville, Tours' picturesque medieval houses, and the breathtaking Cathédrale Saint-Gatien. There is even a convenient parking arrangement right on the square. In short: this is not a slick, modern chain hotel—it is a place with soul, character, and genuinely lovely people running it. If you are not too fussy about a little dust, you are in for a treat.

The decor was great, lively original features. The bed was comfy and shower great. The staff were friendly.

The bar and restaurant were closed for the night we stayed. There was little left for breakfast an hour before it finisjed,the cooked food was cold, there were no pastries...not okay for €15 per head...we went tostarbucks! Our bathroom door didnt close properly.

This hotel is close to Tours Station, within walking distance of the whole town, we had an excellent room, it was very spacious and comfortable bed, very clean! The breakfast is also very good!

The African fellow on reception did not welcome us when we arrived!! The girl made up for it and she was excellent! well done to her!

In our room the bathroom and the seperate WC were very small. In fact, if I sat on the loo with the wc door closed, my knees were hard up against the wc door and desppite what I like to think, Im not that tall (1.75m).

Didn't like the Feeling where the 2 single beds were joined. A mattress topper would probably fix this. There were lots of stains on the bedroom carpet.

The hotel was pleasant but a little tired. It did look as if they were doing some renovation. The staff were accommodating. Certainly convenient for the centre

Hotel was very dated. The bar had nothing we could drink and the breakfast had very little we cold eat. Parking was convenient but had a cost of 13 euro. When the cost of parking, breakfasts , dog and anything else it was quite an expensive stay
