Consistently pleasant hotel, with secure parking.

Close to autoroute and close to the centre of town. Lovely cosy little bar and all the staff are always very pleasant. The the breakfast is always good and the location is perfect for local restos. An ideal stopover which we use at least once or twice a year. 🙂

Overpriced for an old hotel with a regular breakfast

Central location

Old carpets along the hotel although the room was renovated. Room not well heated for the cold winter days. Parking available but very dirty. Some staff untrained, not knowing how to properly handle reservations and check out and not English speaking.

I’d be happy to stay again.

Older type of stylish hotel, but modern facilities and fittings. It is in an excellent location, a short walk from the station, near tram and easy walk to everywhere in the main part of town. Friendly, helpful staff, good breakfast.

This is a friendly hotel in a wonderful location. It could have been fancier, but is a good value.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect! We really appreciated the available parking.

The facilities were a little tired and worn. The hot tub in the pool area was not hot at all. We really wished we had a refrigerator because we had medication that needed to be refrigerated and we were unable to keep small foods (like yogurt or cheese).

Lovely hotel, perfect location, friendly staff.

The hotel is beautiful from the moment you walk through the door. The lobby is a lovely area to sit and have a drink. Rooms are large, very high ceilings and nice and airy. The staff were very helpful, and given out limited French did very well with all our requests. The location is perfect, quick access to the main road which takes you to the river, and the old town in a 20 minutes and only 15mins from the airport. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

One down side to the room is there was no fridge which, being diabetic, is annoying as I had to take my insulin pens downstairs to be stored in the fridge. A fridge would be a great addition to the rooms. Some areas were a little tired looking and also no shelf or storage in the large walk in shower for your shampoos, shower gel, razors etc. but I would still stay here again.

Centrally located hotel with bookable parking.

Comfortable room but the toilet was separate from the bathroom and didn’t have a towel or soap dispenser. Also it had a push style tap with only cold water. Good basic breakfast and friendly staff.

The room would benefit from some rugs (it had a wooden floor) and a fridge. There were no pictures anywhere in the hotel, the rooms looked empty. The steam room wasn’t in use.

Very central location with enormous bed and a suite of rooms.

We were paying a highish price to find the water not really hot in the evening we arrived and the jacuzzi bath didn’t work anyway.

Beau séjour à Tours

We loved the central location and the comfort of the Océania. The room was spacious, extremely quiet, and very clean. The bed was also unusually comfortable, and having a secure parking place was good for our peace of mind. Breakfast was more than adequate and the spa accessibility quite generous. What made all the difference here, though, was the extraordinary attention and friendliness of every member of the staff we met, they are exemplary and the main reason why I’ll happily return.

The internet connection wasn’t always stable, but that could depend on where the room is located. The hotel is like an aging beauty: perhaps becoming a bit tired, but still very attractive and self-assured. At some point a renovation will be become inevitable, however the structures function well and the hospitality is excellent. I much prefer this to a perfect, but cool, hotel.

Exceptional location, poor value for money.

The location is exceptional and the rooms were large.

Unfortunately, many things. The hotel interior is dated, the spa area disappointed, the lifts were scary to ride, and the rooms were poorly furnished and even lacked a refrigerator.

Great, relaxing, enjoyable and very comfortable.

The location, right in the heart of the city is great, lots to see and do within walking distance. The room was very comfortable indeed, lovely bathroom and a sitting area with coffee machine. The lounge areas are very grandly decorated but not over the top, it certainly gives it atmosphere. The pool is more of a plunge pool, not for swimmers but we saw lots of children and adults having fun in there. The car park is handy and easy to navigate. It is essential to book your place for your stay.

Beds were narrow and hard. Floor was uncarpeted. Towels were small and ungenerous considering the price of accommodation. No bath hat for shower.

Parking charged for despite high room cost No hand washing facility in room WC - only in ensuite the opposite side of the room, lots to touch on way through - bit odd!! Breakfast not too bad, but stick to bought-in (bread, pastries, yoghurt cheeses, cereals, fresh fruit etc (but not the tinned fruit - yuk")), would advise not to have cooked offerings (scrambled egg (tasted peculiar), sausage) - More cost effective to go to a local café and get precisely what you want at a more reasonable price. Breakfast room staff not so good - mainly had "I don't want to be here face" Restaurant not open at weekends

Friendly and helpful reception staff. Very responsive. Ideal location 5 minute walk to train station, 5 minute walk to multiple brassieres, unlimited shopping just outside entrance, and a 15 minute walk to historic central city.

Perfect base camp for a Loire trip

Classy hotel close to the central station and the city hall (not so much to the old town - that is about 15 min walk). It is nicely renovated with an impressive foyer. Our room was nice and spacious, with a stylish decor. The dinner at the hotel restaurant is a good value for money.

It would have been great to have more vegetables at breakfast. Also, the jacuzzi did not work. But really that is all. We really liked the place.
