Excellent position within the historic quarter in easy walking distance of the cathedral, Musée des Beaux Arts and Place Plumiere. Parking in the courtyard was useful.

Breakfast was served between 8 and 10 and when we got downstairs at 9.30 there was no bread and no croissants virtually nothing left. All we had was a coffee.

It was very hot when we arrived and we were disappointed that there was no air conditioning. A fan was provided and that helped a little.

An older style property appropriately updated. Courtyard parking. The manager was friendly and helpful. Good breakfast served in a cellar room with a traditional mural. Location close to bars and restaurants.

A comfortable, friendly place, convenient for a stop-over in a lovely city.

We've used this hotel previously because it is easy to get to from the A10 and yet well located for a stroll into town, the cathedral and the river. A change of proprietor since our previous visit: the owner was welcoming and helpful. We booked parking in the yard (there is street parking available, which seems safe and we've used it before). Room comfortable, with a fan for the very warm weather, though some street noise when windows were open. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good, with gluten-free options. This works really well as a stop-over hotel for us, and would be fine for a short city break too (Tours is lively and interesting, a good place to stay over).

All was fine, but a room away from the Rue du Petit Pré side might be optimal.

Pretty central location in Tours but the stand out factor was the staff who bent over backwards to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay and made us feel more than welcome from start to finish very good breakfast.

It was ideal for our 2x 1 night stays, to break up our journey.

The location was good, a short walk from the cathedral and city centre. Parking on street outside was very convenient. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a great nights sleep, a very clean comfortable bed. The room was clean also.

The hotel itself is in need of a refurbishment, the rooms although clean were dated, paint coming off doors etc. Bathroom needs new fittings and decor. Breakfast at an extra 22€ for two was quite basic.

A big bedroom and bathroom for the price A king sized bed The fan and wooden shutters to help with the very hot weather. The friendly and welcoming and helpful staff. The lovely courtyard entrance -quiet and peaceful arrival Located very close to the town railway station and an easy walk to the most amazing Rue Colbert for restaurants and on into the old town. Good accommodation in a great location with private parking. Book in advance as there are only 4 spaces. Room comfortable and shower good. Breakfast was also good - usual continental style. The staff was very helpful marking the sights , restaurants & walking route on a map . Some English spoken but it helps if you can speak a little French too.

Excellent location for a friendly, pleasant and good value hotel.

We came back to this hotel because it is so conveniently and pleasantly situated: a short drive from the Autoroute exit, and a pleasant walk into the city. The hotel is very pleasant, the neighbourhood feels safe and is relatively quiet for its city location. Tours is a great place for a stop-over - lots to see, plenty of good restaurants and bars - and this hotel is well placed, comfortable and good value. There's even a small sitting-out area, though the autumn weather meant that we didn't use it this time.

On this occasion we had to take a smaller, lower-cost room on an upper floor. Previously we'd been in a larger room on a lower floor, and I'd say that it's worth a little more to stay in the larger room (though this one was fine for an overnight stop).

Value for money hotel, about 10 minutes walk from historic old town. Wonderfully friendly staff. Room comfortable but a little dated. Breakfast ok.

Only 4 spaces in car park and they need to be reserved well in advance. Finding street space for free parking can be tricky.
