Absolutely loved this hotel!

Breakfast was amazing. Staff were super helpful. Lovely vibe to the hotel. Our room was clean, cosy and had everything we needed.

Lighting in the room was too dark. Hotel location was OK but not right in the heart of Salzburg. Easy to get to with public transport or walking.

Style for a good price

Room was spacious and had some decorative flair, more interesting than the typical room. My wife really enjoyed the spa.

The Auersperg is a lovely location to make your home base for exploring Salzburg.

The room was large and very comfortable, and so stylishly designed. Great bed, excellent shower. A small but enjoyable spa (sauna, steam room). All in all an A-plus experience, including the friendly and helpful staff members we interacted with.

Well appointed & equipped, pleasant staff & good breakfast.

Expensive compared to other hotels nearby. Bedroom was in separate building with no physical connection; it was raining heavily when we stayed ☹️! Our bedroom was ‘tight’ space wise.

Nice hotel but lacking in many areas.

Location to the autobahn

In a very quiet location with nothing around it. No lobby lounge or bar to get drinks or coffee. Restaurant opened late limited hours. No local places to eat without a drive. Was given two uncleaned rooms prior to check in. Hotel seemed like it has been closed for a long time, not very welcoming.

Gorgeous property!!!! Great Location, divine** garden, beautiful decor, rooftop terrace off sauna relaxation area, so well layered and though through creating rich colours and relaxing atmosphere. Price point very competitive for this level property. Also, will mention the breakfast was outstanding. This property was a stand out stay in our entire month in Europe from Australia.

A perfect option for traveling with your pet

We traveled there with our dog in the summer and spent a great week in Salzburg. The hotel has everything you would need and is particularly pet-friendly. Staff was always nice and helpful, and the garden is absolutely lovely when it's sunny. It's a good location as it's very close to the old center of Salzburg, but far enough away to be in a completely calm area (zero noise at night, or even during the day).

The breakfast had lots of options but the pastries (croissants, etc.) were not exceptional. You can find better value for money elsewhere in the town.

Our favourite stay in Austria!

We went on a 10-day trip to the Czech Republic and Austria, and without a doubt, Hotel Auersperg in Salzburg was our absolute favourite. Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff were warm, friendly, and very welcoming. The hotel is tucked away in a peaceful location, yet just a short walk from the old town and main attractions. Our room was beautifully designed, very comfortable, stylish, and full of thoughtful details. We especially loved the beautiful view of the garden. Breakfast was a highlight with a great selection of fresh and organic options. We only stayed for one night and instantly regretted not booking a longer stay!

Delightful Salzburg stay

Location was great. A very pleasant 12 mins walk to downtown locations. Breakfast was excellent. Spa was very relaxing. Staff were very helpful!

Everything was exceptional! Very well designed room, with coffee bar and mini frig. Family room has an entry area to store things. Garden, bar and spa were all peaceful and relaxing. Plus they have a large honey bee hive where you can watch them work.

Charming place with a lovely garden and ambience!!

The breakfast was exceptional except we ordered eggs that never arrived. We checked with our waitress after 20 minutes. She said she would check and we waited another 20 minutes and still no eggs so left to begin our tour. The next day we decided not to order eggs.

The Cosy room was so small that we had trouble deciding between looking in our suitcase or walking in the room. You could not do both with 2 suitcases. The bed was very comfortable! Thank you!

A wonderful stay in Salzburg

This hotel is beautiful, clean and is in a very convenient location. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner we had at the hotel restaurant was delicious, always fresh and organically made. We loved our room and also enjoyed walking in the hotel garden. Sarah and Denise were especially engaging with over and above, but the entire staff has the same culture of friendly hospitality and service that prompted me to write a review. Beautiful location, such a gorgeous hotel, restaurant and amenities like sauna, dvd library to borrow (such a nostalgic treat!), beautiful views.

Lack of air conditioning is hard throughout Austria, glad we didn’t stay is summer because we were uncomfortably warm at night even with the window open, but had to close the curtains as too bright so we dint very well.

Royal treatment, hospitality and wonderful TEAM

This was the best hotel during our vacations in Austria - truly hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcome. Staff is exceptional - we had friendly interactions with Mr Rohi from the reception and Mr Cajetan - both extremely nice and helpful. Credits go also to the staff at the bar and breakfast room -I have no names but they were all super nice and this means a lot - as a guest it makes you feel special. As for the hotel itself, it is a hidden gem in Salzburg - we already plan to visit the city again and stay at Boutique Hotel & Villa AUERSPERG as this trip was far too short. To summarise: 1. Great location - walking distance to Mirabell Palace & Garden and old town. 2. Parking available and easily accessible 3. Room spacious and well equipped with coffee/tea/water facilities plus personal welcome message :-) and sweet Mozart Kugeln 4. Cozy bed and lovely bathroom with all needed amenities 5. Welcome drink 6. Delicious breakfast with a great variety, hot and warm options (including warm ginger drink, avocado etc.) 7. Magical garden with beautiful nature and bee corner - employee of the month ;-) 8. Amazing facilities - working space, couch, pillows etc. The hotel has great Management and there is nothing we would improve. Thank you to the entire Team for warm hospitality. Vielen Dank!
