Fabulous hotel perfectly positioned in Salzburg!

We enjoyed the Honeymoon Suite for our 25th anniversary. This room was amazing as it featured a plastered ceiling that felt like it should’ve been in one of the palaces. The hotel is very well located in the heart of old Salzburg. Service was phenomenal and the room was very well laid out. Hotel features a restaurant with fantastic views on the roof. Serves breakfast lunch and dinner.

The roof top terrace bar area closed on Saturday at 4 pm for a private function - this was one of the main reasons for selecting the hotel due to fabulous views and cocktail bar

Eat dinner elsewhere - pretentious bar with food experiments - beef tartare Japanese style with pineapple chutney. Breakfast was fabbo however they won’t sit you with a view if you are not with four only one table with two for a view. Super bizarre.

The air conditioning was exceptionally noisy and close to bed making it difficult to sleep. We switched it off and opened the windows and traffic noise prevented us from sleeping well. On bring problem to attention of hotel staff, earplugs were provided.

Fantastic location, staff friendly and professional. Very clean room, size was great, and a nice view of the river and castle. Facilities were very elegant.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I would like to comment how pleased I was with the service provided by the staff at this wonderful hotel! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This hotel is conveniently located for all the main tourist attractions of Salzburg. And the best part is the beautiful view of the old town, including Festung Hohensalzburg, from the hotel window! (The night view is even more special.) I want to stay at this hotel for our next trip to Salzburg.

Clean and friendly hotel in great location by river.

Great location by the river and on the opposite bank to the old town (few minutes walk) Welcoming staff, nothing too much trouble. Room was clean and quiet, didn’t have coffee/tea making facilities but a kettle was provided on request. Free water and cold drinks in room was a nice touch.

Location was great to visit the attractions within the city. Breakfast was outstanding with fresh cooked egg selections.

Rooftop bar was always crowded with no priority to the hotel guests.

Comfortable room, nice location… But!

Big rooms and bathrooms, Water bottles were provided. Location is excellent. You can walk to all major places for sightseeing. They have a nice terrace with a view of River,city and castle. Although its always filled more with outside people than the hotel guests. During my next visit , most likely i ‘ll choose a different hotel.

One particular waiter behaved badly(they gotta be polite and respectful in hospitality industry) when we requested to have the breakfast outside on the terrace . His words and i quote - “so you choose the table yourself , cant you see we dont have cutleries over there. “ Wow!!
