Disappointed by the level of service received

Location is superb

Our experience at the bar was somewhat mixed. The bartender displayed a rather dismissive demeanor making an unsolicited comment regarding my beverage choice. His attitude improved noticeably upon realizing we were hotel guests. On the departure morning we visited the renowned Cafe Sacher to try the famous Sacher cake with espresso. Despite the cafe being almost empty we waited 15 minutes and decided to leave as we had a scheduled check-out. It is our opinion that the service needs to improve to align with customer service standards we expect from this beautiful hotel.

Exceptional stay in Salzburg's best hotel.

Magnificent 5 star hotel in an outstanding location. Staff and service were exceptional and attentive throughout the stay. Room was beautifully finished and comfortable, ours had a balcony and view over the river to the old town and castle. The bar is absolutely top tier with an interesting range of cocktails. We had breakfast in the Sacher Cafe which was excellent, and dinner on our first night in the Sacher Grill - which was even better. I would happily stay again, and look forward to a time when I can return.

There was nothing I would ask for, or did not like. A great experience all around.

Breakfast and Staff , absolutely amazing. Ursula the super is an absolute gem. I have never felt more welcome anywhere in my life. Best coffee I’ve ever tasted and believe me I’m a seasoned addict.It was our stepping stone to a months skiing and absolutely brilliant hotel ALL Round. Staff love being there and it shows

I loved this hotel! Stay the junior suite! Beautiful!!

The location and breakfast were superb! One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed! Our room which was Junior suite was beautiful, clean and nicely decorated. I loved it so much!

The front office could explain more nicely for why the customer really does not want to call the taxi to the right front of the hotel entrance. Maybe lost in translation.

Everything! Buffet breakfast was amazing,; we could get anything we could think of. It was all delicious, and the coffee was great. All the egg dishes, whether poached, fried or scrambled were cooked with unsurpassed expertise. The orange juice was freshly squeezed. The staff were so attentive. Front desk staff were so helpful at all times. The Cafe Sacher was a delight in every way, and the Restaurant food was impeccable. This is a seriously good Hotel to stay in, and this is why it is already ranked among the best 400 Hotels in the World.

Inadequate service for a 5 Star Hotel. Too many foreign employees with low training.

The view from the room. It was on the river, and, from the third floor, it was great.

We stayed 2 nights and the room was never cleaned. Unacceptable in a 5Star Hotel. When I complained, the lady at the reception started to say that i was guilty requesting to not cleaning the room: this never happened and, even if i repeated, she was quite rude continuing to say it. UNACCEPTABLE!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Hotel Sacher in April, and it became an unforgettable trip—we got engaged during our stay! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and even surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne to help us celebrate. We’re so grateful for the way they looked after us and made the occasion feel truly special. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hotel Sacher to anyone visiting the beautiful city of Salzburg. It’s become a meaningful part of our story, and we’ll absolutely be back.

The property is in the middle of the heart in Salzburg, very nice old school hotel , rooms are very cosy and service excellent, there is Sacher caffè very chic place , and Sacher Grill with most delicious wineries schnitzel! And the hotel inside is completely fabulous 🌹

I would like to tell that for 5 stars hotel will be nice if the give like small gift for remembering , like chocolate Sacher or something ! And definitely need to ask if we want to have water for traveling , specially if you are with car , and definitely no charge for car parking , This is no gone for 5 stars hotels !
