I loved the hotel and the sitting room that was open for my greater family to gather in the evening

I loved the location of this hotel. Right in the middle of old town and steps from many of the tourist locations I wanted to visit.

The shower door was situated such that most of the bathroom floor was wet after a shower.

Wonderful, comfortable hotel with friendly staff and an excellent location!

We were a family of 12 traveling together over Christmas and the hotel were extremely accommodating of us using the lounge to spend time together. The rooms were comfortable & spacious, the fridge was a real help!

Amazing location Renovated and spacious room

The staff at the reception had very different levels. Some were extremely competent. Others not so much. The hotel is rated as 4-stars. But it seems to me like an excellent 3-stars. The room and location were exceptional. But no further convenience. The breakfast is not included in the room price. The restaurant is independent from the hotel and had no space when we arrived.

Fantastic Hotel in the Heart of Old Town Salzburg

What a great hotel. We stayed in a family room on the Elefant Family Business side of the Hotel. The room was large with a sitting area and desk. The bed was comfortable. The location cant be better right in the heart of old town. Check in was easy and nice to get 2 keys. I would stay here again

I absolutely love staying here. It was superbly clean. The location was amazing and the staff were lovely.

Personally, there was no kettle in the room I had to ask for a kettle and then when I asked for a teabag to go with it, they said they couldn’t give me one. I had to buy one and I felt for the price of the room. it was a little things that would make it more special

Nice Stay

Very nice and clean room.

The only thing I didn’t like about the stay is when you take an elevator you get off to floor 1 then take stairs to get to another elevator before making it to your room. Otherwise you walk a staircase with heavy luggage.

The staff were especially helpful and knowledgeable. This is a compact hotel with good use of space. Bed was comfy and the room very clean.

I had almost no view- tucked away in the corner. It’s a minor thing.

Location was perfect. We were center in Salzburg! Free bus fare within the city xebter rocks!

No complimentary hot drinks as no electric kettle found on room on our arrival as we arrived late on our journey. The staff was so awesome to lend us an electeic kettle for our stay.

The room required taking one elevator to first floor, and then a different elevator down a hall for the 2nd floor. Not a big deal, but not optimal.

Our room…..poorly laid out. No place to plug in hair devices, no mirror….! Very hot room. And when opening the window, the street noise was bad! Also….it was a very odd steps and corridors and 2 different elevators to even get to our room. Location of our room was weird!

Convenient location and family friendly

Location is great, families with small children get access to a special entrance with an elevator on the ground floor. Some rooms have a great view, others not so much, but for the location, even the bad-view rooms are very worth it

Convenient hotel with excellent location and reasonably priced.

The hotel was clean and the staff was both warm and helpful. I loved the location. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of selections. The beds were comfortable. At check out, when I mentioned that I was heading to the airport and wanted to know where to get a taxi, the hotel staff called us a taxi that arrived in 2 minutes. I would definitely recommend it and come back myself.

The AC in our room was a bit noisy but not enough to keep us awake. Since we were there for only one night and slept well, there was no need to mention it to staff.

A fabulous location provided for a fabulous vacation!

This hotel is in a perfect location in the middle of old town. The restaurant attached had good food and drinks.

I liked everything about this hotel. The staff were friendly. The location was close to all of the sights. It is especially lovely to walk in the old town early in the morning or later in the evening without the thousands of tourists in the medieval streets.

The location was great and the staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and bigger than I expected. The building itself was also very interesting with a lot of old corridors and cool architecture/art. I recommend asking the staff about parking options as they will likely have better recommendations than you will find on your own.

The corridors and layout were very cool, but also kind of confusing. Ended up going in circles a couple times.

Fabulous hotel in a perfect location

Fantastic location in Old town, easy walking distance to everything you need. Clean, spacious and very comfortable room. The room has a fridge which is handy and upon asking front desk staff provided a kettle for me. They were friendly and more than willing to help with any questions that I had. There is a same day laundry service which came in very handy. I felt safe as a solo female traveller. I could not rate this Hotel any higher.

Excellent location. Spacious room. Very friendly and professional staff at check in. They offered to assist with parking but we found an outside parking area just outside the old town, close to the bridge which is closest to the hotel for about 4 Euro a night. We did not have breakfast but it looked generous.

Dead center of the old town. Clean and comfortable!

Perfect location, dead center of the old town steps away from Mozart’s birthplace and all of the other stuff in the old center. Scrupulously clean, large room, comfortable beds. Good bathroom.

Honestly, too expensive for a room with a pullout couch as the third bed, but it was a huge room.

Great location, quaint hotel.

Super location in the old town. This is the second time we’ve stayed here, but over five years apart. We stayed in the newer rooms, which had a comfy bed. No soap in the shower, so bring some. Breakfast is extra but quite delicious. The staff lent us an iron and charging block when we lost ours. Would stay again if we came back!
