Most comfortable so far!

We've been in Europe for 3 weeks now and I've got to say that the beds and pillows here are the most comfortable so far! Gunther and Barbara made us most welcome. The breakfast was lovely and had so much to choose from.

The location

The bedroom, they used 2 singles bed and they joined them , and that is very bad, must be one king bed size. It's not comfortable in sleeping

Overall happy with this hotel and would probably book it again.

Brilliant location on a mostly pedestrian road although delivery vans and refuse cart do drive down, Room 16 was above the Cafe Bar every time someone went in or out of the door which slammed shut our room shook! Bathroom very small but adequate. Pillows on bed were useless very little filling had to fold over to obtain a near decent pillow. Would have liked a decaffeinated hot drink option and hot chocolate. Breakfast minimal no toaster croissants ran out fruit was of the tinned variety not fresh.

The location was very good.

We arrived and one of our rooms disappeared the night before. The staff told us no problem we will figure it out. My husband and I told the staff it was our 2 year wedding anniversary the following day and she told us we would be in the same room the entire time and the other travelers would switch the next day to the same floor. Upon picking up our key that night we were giving a key to someone else’s room who already had all there stuff in the room. My group was able to sort it out but the following day my husband and I were downgraded to the top floor for our wedding anniversary. Along with this different floor from our guest and what we agreed upon. We tired to speak with the staff and they basically said there was nothing we could do. We normally would have been fine with this but customer service was very poor and they seemed to not care about their guest. The beds are hard and stiff, you only get one pillow, the shower in our guest room flooded after one use and it spilled onto the carpet into there room. Sadly, although location is good I would not recommend this place to other guest.

The room was clean and the location was perfect

The room was right next to the elevator. The woman at the reception was too cold and not welcoming, unlike the man who was very friendly and warm. The noise from the ventilation system in the bathroom was very loud, and we could also hear sounds from the other rooms.

Excellent location, excellent service and fresh coffee 24/7!

Excellent location with restaurants and shops literally steps away. Major landmarks also just a short walking distance away. The hotel managers were also super helpful. And, coffee (fresh) 24/7!

Convent and comfortable

Clean, comfortable room, good breakfast with soft boiled egg maker(!) Staff was kind and considerate to make me fresh gluten-free rolls each of my three days, AND the rolls were really good! Cool back courtyard off 2nd floor, which backs up to a cliff. We saw a chamoix on the cliffside! Convenient to restaurants and parking Staff were friendly and helpful.

Perfect location!

Absolutely loved the location — just a short walk to the city center and surrounded by charming cafés. The hotel itself was cozy and clean, with friendly and welcoming staff. A great stay overall!

I stayed on the first floor, and you could occasionally feel some movement from below. My room faced the street, so it might not be ideal for light sleepers (I’m not, so it didn’t bother me). If you’re sensitive to noise, I’d recommend requesting one of the patio-facing rooms, which seemed much quieter.

The reception by the staff was excellent, clean tidy and comfy. Breakfast was very good and decent variety to choose from although a little expensive similar on the street would have matched the price so the comfort of their dining room was preferred. Overall very good with no issues to raise. Front room floor 2 facing the street with good views. No noise issues.

Wonderful stay, can’t wait to return!

The included breakfast was wonderful, as was the staff! We were upgraded on arrival to a larger and more quiet room which was a great surprise. The location was very convenient and the 24-hour cappuccino, coffee, and tea was a nice bonus! We can’t wait to return!

It says that the bar is open until 12 p.m. but it went on until 2 or 3 a.m. with very loud music, it also smelled of cigarette smoke in the entrance altough it says smoking is prohibited in the house.
