My last nigth in a Novotel

Nothing

Manager lacking resoluciones. No heat in The room in november. Terrible nigth at 0 grades Celsius outside. The staff came with two devices that worked for a couple of minutes And then stopped. Last third one also stopped after 30 more minutes And in this time The fault it was because the plug. This gives you an indication of the level of maintenance in the hotel. After a terrible nigth The manager offer a refund of 50 % Of the cost. Not enougf at all.

I was tired more by my stay at the hotel than my voyage to get there.

The receptionist spoke bird and we could not understand and my friend is French. The evening meal was appalling- and I demanded a reduction and got it. (Burnt dry chips and a salmon something or other.). The waiters swanned around as though they were the stars in their own films. The breakfast was cheap and nasty. The reception sent us to -1 instead of 0 to take our taxi.

Nice room, good location.

Location was good for walking around Lyon. Parking was easy. Generally a solid budget hotel. Staff was pleasant. Room was a good size and the bathroom was spacious with good water pressure.

There was quite a bit of construction noise, including heavy drilling before 8 am. My wife complained and was told it wasn't their fault. But when I mentioned it at checkout, the hotel admitted it was construction directly above us and that the manager was upset about it.

Served its purpose for one overnight.

Did not get breakfast it was too expensive. Location was good for our needs.

The restaurant and bar were closed for a private function forcing a situation were we had to drink and dine off premises or order in.

Excellent bar and restaurant. Staff were very helpful.

For a family this was difficult- the rooms don’t have any storage apart from a clothes rail and one shelf which already had dressing gowns in. The location was a bit far from the centre and the bus was a bit unreliable when we were there.

Location is great, room big enough for 3 of us, parking, bar/terrace area

I would avoid during summer time! (bad air conditioning)

The location, the cleanliness.

-The air conditioning system was terrible and inefficient. Although we had two rooms and we tried all settings. Staff tried to help with bringing fans. But still , a reason to avoid revisiting the place . -One of the elevators was out of order for several days which overloaded the remaining one . - Parkings are also overpriced!

hotel was comfortable, clean and in a good spot by the small river and a great view in restaurant. Confluence museum and the mall is nearby the hotel

location is actually is not central, railway stop is close but if you want to walk to the city center it takes 30min.

Excellent hotel, one of my all-time favourites

I always stay at this hotel when I come to Lyon because it's amazing: huge rooms, a bathtub, everything pristine clean, beautiful views over the river, a shopping centre attached, with a cinema showing original version films! What not to like!

The only issue for me is the breakfast: the room is quite small and gets very busy in the morning. It is quite disorganised and sometimes you have to wait a long time to get served. After trying it once, I've decided to just take the room without breakfast and have breakfast at Paradis de Fruit.

The rooftop is amazing. Beides that i liked: kid's corner, good breakdast, public transportation to the City, large room.

On one day there was no food in the afternoon on the rooftop terrace because nobody was in Kitchen
