had a wonderful stay at Mercure Lyon Centre Plaza République and would definitely choose this hotel again. From the very beginning, the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Everything I had requested in advance was arranged perfectly, including a specific room type close to the elevator and with a shower rather than a bathtub. I arrived very late, around midnight, and Alicia gave me such a warm welcome. She was incredibly kind and even helped me with my heavy luggage, which I really appreciated after a long journey. What impressed me most was how quickly every single request was handled. Whatever we asked for was provided almost instantly. For example, when the cool-air function on the hairdryer was not working, they brought us a new one within seconds. Another time, a capsule got stuck in the coffee machine, and voilà — a replacement machine was brought to the room almost immediately. This level of responsiveness really made the stay feel effortless and comfortable. The service throughout my stay was excellent. Complimentary soft drinks were provided in the minibar and refilled every day, along with the coffee capsules. The room was always very neatly cleaned, and all the staff members I interacted with were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. The only issue I experienced was with the room temperature, as the air conditioning did not cool the room as much as I would have liked and the windows in my room could not be opened. However, the staff handled this perfectly and immediately offered several solutions, including moving us to another room with openable windows or providing a very large fan. I really appreciated how quickly and professionally they responded. Overall, I had a very positive experience. The location, service, cleanliness, and especially the kindness and professionalism of the staff made my stay extremely enjoyable. I will definitely come back to Lyon, and when I do, I will absolutely choose this hotel again.

No parking in hotel. Parking above 1.9m heights quite far from hotel

It is a very small room for many guests.We need to wait for to replace the food.Only one woman doing all the work.
