Functional hotel in excellent location.

Location

Family room is in a separate building with normal residential apartments. Communal elevator and stairway were unclean.

The front desk was excellent when we lost complete power in the room. The hotel is quirky but the location said it all.

Only location is good.

Hotel staff gives the worst room in the hotel to those who booked through Booking.com. They changed the room because I objected. In short, I will never stay there again. I do not recommend it.

Great location but not a great hotel.

I thought the location was excellent. Very convenient to all of attractions and services and restaurants.

The breakfast was minimal. The room was very small the beds were uncomfortable. The hotel was old and needed updating. The bathroom shower/tub was very dangerous to step in and out of. No closet room and no drawers.

The location

One of the staff was shutting the phone every time we call , as we call to ask about the nearest parking and we were lost as some road closure in that day, entrance an street was not safe, not suitable for wheel chair as elevator stopped in higher or lower lever , very small rooms , i booked twin bed and they dint have twin beds rooms . One receptionist on check in he was very good and helpful he tried to make our stay good

We stayed in the apartment. Lots of room, well located , comfy beds.

No air conditioning in 90 + heat. There were 3 fans provided, but they hardly moved air around. There are much better fans on the market.

The room was available an hour earlier than planned. Staff very good. It was going to be a noisy night, the room was on the quiet side.

Amazing place and staff

The building is old but all rooms are renovated, there is an elevator that takes you up and you have to take a few steps to the room, the staff is amazing, with an special shout out to Lisa who was really kind to give us tips from the city. It is also located in the best neighborhood

Really loved the gorgeous city of Lyon !

Very good location near the river and walking distance to everything you need or want to see. Large very comfortable bed and room kept very clean. All staff were happy and friendly and always eager to answer any questions or give you valuable information !

We were in a room backing onto a narrow alleyway which did not let in a lot of natural light. Even with the double glazing windows it was noisy at night especially from the “doof doof “ cafe/nightclub close by and patrons using the alleyway to stagger home at five o’clock in the morning ! The sides of the bath were high and you have to be very careful climbing into the shower with not much to hold on to !

Brilliant location & brilliant staff

My first time in Lyon and I couldn't have picked a better location in central Lyon, close to shopping and bars and also Vieux Lyon (old Lyon) is just a walk across the bridge that's less than 50m from the entrance. Compliments also to the absolutely brilliant receptionists who offered excellent advice upon arrival and were always willing to help.

Great Location for First Time Visitors

The location was the best thing about the hotel. Close to restaurants and easy to get different places as a tourist. The staff was all very nice and professional. Very good value for the price.

1. We were in room 302. Our air conditioner did not work. We ended up opening the windows. There was some type of nightclub in the back alley. They did not stop making noise until after 5 am. Even with the windows closed, you could hear people yelling in the street. 2. The shower in the bathroom was fine with temperature and water pressure. To get in the shower, you had to step in over the tub which was at least 24 high". Combine that with the slippiness of the tub floor, and it was a bit scary when soap was on the floor. There was nothing to grab onto in the tub. Water spilled out of the tub because there was only a half glass wall, and that swung in and out Not a great design The bathroom also could have used some towel racks or hooks. There was a towel warmer. That did not work either.

Good location. Comfortable bed . Modern and clean

Had a problem with the toilet door not shutting. Staff already knew about it . Temporary wedge arrangement not ideal and the wedge was removed by cleaners meaning we had to go looking for help with this a second time

Superb

Ideal location - easy walking distance to the old town, Bellecour, Hotel de Ville etc and tons of great bars and restaurants ! The room and bathroom were both on the small side but had everything we needed including a kettle, and an iron and ironing board were available to borrow from reception. Staff were helpful and we did use the laundry service which was pricey but quick. Air con in the room was also good.
