Giles and Isabelle, the married couple who own and operate the property, along with their helpful and dedicated staff work incredibly hard to keep their place clean, comfortable and safe. It also happens to be in a very convenient location, just a few minutes walk from the centrally located Parrache train station and easy walking distance to/from many other beautiful streets, shops, and restaurants in the central hub of Lyon.

Amazing calm clean and cute hotel

This is such a hidden gem! I loved the energy, it was so quiet, and had so much natural light. The room itself was larger than I expected, and so cozy. I love that they provided tea and coffee pods in the room.

I wish the bathroom curtain was a little thicker, they were very see through at night, anyone could have seen me naked haha. But overall lovely!

Ideal quaint little Hotel to enjoy a magnificent city

Sumptuous breakfast..perfect location for long strolls..and it was very quiet

A warm, welcoming and amiable environment within comfortable walking distance of the city centre.

My room was peaceful and quiet, exactly as I wanted it to be.

The breakfast options are extremely limiting: a buffet breakfast at €19 or a small breakfast (without a protein option) at €9. As someone who cannot stand a large breakfast, I'd have preferred an option of circa €11 which included protein options, for example, cheese/an egg/cold meat. That would have been parfait!!!

A comfortable stay, but not what I was expecting

On the fringe of Lyon’s downtown, this hotel has been relatively recently updated. I booked a junior suite, which provided more space than another hotel close to Place Bellecour I stayed at on a prior visit to Lyon for a similar price. The complimentary tea and coffee facilities in the reception area were appreciated. While I didn’t have it, the continental breakfast looked quite nice.

The hotel really is on the fringe of Lyon’s main downtown area and unlike other reviews, I didn’t find the location convenient, having stayed previously close to Place Bellecour and on Quai de Bondy. I also found the arrival and check in process challenging. For the example, there is one on-street car space reserved by the hotel in a narrow one-way street for temporarily parking to unload luggage if you have a car as we did; you also have to carry luggage up a small flight of stairs to reception. Despite the recent updates to the hotel, there are basic facilities missing (no fridge in the hotel room) I would have liked to see. The quality of the renovation is hit-and-miss (e.g. on the one hand, the decor is very stylish, but on the other the quality of finish needs more attention as the toilet door latch didn’t work in room 203, the junior suite I booked). When I contacted the hotel prior to arrival to reserve parking I was advised there was none available. It became apparent why when I arrived: the hotel is on a narrow one-way street with mostly timed on-street pay parking. There is parking in a multi-level car park/bus and tram terminal a 5 minute walk away).

Great value for money if interior and perfect staff for you is more important than location.

People were very supportive, gave us some good advice how to be in the city. Nice design, we felt like in kind of artistic place. The hotel has made a list of their favorite restaurants, shops, art places - a helpful guide for the ones who are new in the city.

Abandoned buildings around and parking is torture if your car is larger than citroen Deux chevaux.

We loved the people working there and the owners. The breakfast was good and had a bit of everything. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The location was excellent.

The quirky styling, modern decor and original features of the property that worked harmoniously with the modern style. The manager at the desk was very friendly and helpful.

No bar or lounge area. A small bathroom that is open to the bedroom isn’t great, although shower pressure and clean, modern look was good. Very little storage for clothes and cases. Quite a limited breakfast choice for the price, especially in terms of hot food.

Best place to stay in Lyon

This hotel has such a beautiful atmosphere! Everything has quality to it; the beautiful interior, the comfy bed, the lovely breakfast. And especially the nice owners of the hotel. The owner gave us some great advice for restaurants (go to Flair next door, it is so good!) and for walking the city. We loved our stay in Lyon because of this hotel and all the great advice.
