We loved our stay and would consider going back.

We loved the location and access to everything we wanted to do. Loved our timing with outdoor market next to the river. It was a beautiful location next the plaza of the Theatre.

Did not like the confusing breakfast arrangement of a full breakfast in dining room and a light breakfast(required to take to your room).

Tiny single room

Although it was a single room it was not really big enough to call it a room for an adult. Very tiny and therefore fell short of expectations and arguably over priced.

Nice comfortable hotel

Close to centre. It was clean and overall for the price it is a nice hotel. I liked the hotel key ( as it was like you have a real key, ad it was in the past) and the lights witches in the room are very cool.

Important part of good hotel experience is having a good shower. Here the shower was average. Not a lot of water. Cheap shower head, for the rest great value for the money.

The hotel is very conveniently located in Lyon, close to tourist and cultural points of interest. The staff was very helpful with recommending places to go and to eat, and the overall vibe was just ”magnifique”. Right next to the hotel there is a public garage, very convenient and safe.

Perfect location in Lyon.

Excellent location- could walk to everything. Old town is close. Liked seeing the theatre from our room. Great breakfast and very friendly staff.

Only problem for some might be getting in bathtub to take a shower.

A perfect location, comfortable and friendly.

The hotel was a classic hotel experience, with real keys that you drop of at the desk when you go out, took me back to my trips to France from 35 years ago. Friendly front desk staff, good sized room with a view to the theater and square. Room was clean and nicely appointed with a good sized desk. A sparkling water dispenser in the breakfast room was a nice touch. The real draw for the hotel is the location, less than a block from the river and the 5 day a week market on the quay. Vieux Lyon is a very quick walk over a pedestrian bridge. There is an incredible array of restaurants and shopping within a very short walk. The area around the hotel feels very safe. We were able to do almost everything by walking.

The shower worked well but it was hard to keep the bathroom floor from flooding. Always ended up having to mop it up with the bath mat.

On a side street that was pretty quiet. Within walking distance of all the sites. Chloe at the front desk was great. Altogether a very warm and friendly atmosphere.

No hotel parking but the entrance to public parking was right in front of the hotel.

Great staff in a great location

Good location, close to the Saône river and near the main restaurant and shopping area of the Presqu'île. The desk staff were upbeat and helpful. Nice large bathroom with a tub and a bidet.

Breakfast seemed expensive so we went up the street to a cafe. Would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room.

Highly recommended - the friendliest hotel that we’ve ever stayed at in France

We loved the central location of the hotel, the friendly staff and the excellent breakfast. The breakfast products were of a very high standard and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. The mini fridge in our room and the kettle were also greatly appreciated.

Our room was quite small and there was only limited storage. It was perfectly adequate for a 2 night stay but we would have struggled had we been there for longer.

Very stylish, simple decor in communal area, bedroom and bathroom. Friendly staff on front desk and very good location for river and many restaurants and bars. Quiet street so peaceful nights of sleep, which was lovely.

Everything good - rooms are compact, but that is common in narrow older buildings.

Would absolutely return and highly recommend!

Location is perfect just minutes from the river and the spectacular sights of the old city. You will need to catch a taxi from the train station and you will be conveniently dropped right at the hotel door. There is a hotel lift and although room is small the gorgeous opening window view to the beautiful adjacent theatre building is just what you want to see on your visit to breathtaking Lyon!

It would have been lovely to have a bigger room but that is just not an option in most old city areas. The fantastic location more than compensates for any room size discomfort. You can get bigger rooms in hotels closer to train station but the beauty of Lyon is in the old city area. Staying in this hotel you will be within minutes of walking to all the great sights, restaurants and bars.
