Very pleasant stay.

Good location with parking garage and very very helpful parking attendent/bellman+ (Roland really made our stay, helping us out on multiple occasions.) Lovely suite. Front desk staff was very accommodating in changing our room and upgrading us after we complained of noise in our junior suite. Good restaurant and wine selection.

Front desk staff was not helpful when we first arrived. Original room was very noisy with trash pickup at 5 am just below our window. Hotel caters to many large groups and can often be crowded, but hotel does a good job of keeping individual travelers separated from groups for meals. Front desk at times seemed understaffed.

Pleasant enough stay in a beautiful location

Location and friendliness of reception and parking staff in particular.

Food service was not great. We ordered evening meal for 8 people and several orders were incorrect and we were initially charged for items we did not have.

A wonderful location with great staff and views, but the rooms are in need of updating

The location was excellent, with the convenience of being able to park directly at the hotel. The staff were fantastic—Roland in particular stood out, always welcoming us with a smile and making the stay feel truly personal. Breakfast was delicious and made even more enjoyable by the stunning views overlooking beautiful Assisi.

The rooms could use some updating, as the décor feels quite dated. The mattresses were very thin and not particularly comfortable. The hairdryers are old and in need of replacement, and the shower head was broken during our stay.

Great location , parking available , room was great although small and staff friendly and helpful. The terrace is a class of its own .

Breakfast at 20 euro per person is a bit over valued , since the buffet is simple and relative one in other hotels was at 10 euro per person

Beautiful stay

The location was amazing. Everything very close to get to. The people at the reception were very friendly. The Hotel was clean.

The air conditioning seems to be a bit dusty or dry not sure but we started to cough after a while. Also it was very very hot and the breakfast items were just left there at a hot room temperature. The breakfast just didn't really look so fresh and the bread was quite hard.

Welcoming and comfortable hotel in Assisi.

Very good breakfast in pleasant surroundings. In good weather the outdoor terrace would be lovely as it enjoys panoramic views. A nice hotel in all respects. Parking is also available if pre-booked - very desirable if one chooses to stay in Assisi itself.

Excellent location, beautiful view, kind and diligent hotel team. We will return for sure!

The location of the hotel is fantastic, just a short walk to the Basilica of Saint Francis, and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The view from our room was amazing!! When we left the hotel we realized we had left a jacket in the closet. We called the hotel and Victor diligently located the jacket, stored it for me, and gave me the information of a shipping company to organize the shipment. Fantastic experience with a really kind and diligent member of the Giotto Hotel team. My big Thanks to Victor and the Giotto Hotel!

Beautiful Hotel. Absolutely beautiful location and although not perfect glad we chose this hotel.

Location of this hotel was brilliant. Beautiful area. Beautiful outdoor seating areas at hotel and terrific views. Hotel itself needs some updating. Breakfast is extra at 15 euros per person and there was lots to choose from and lovely breakfast room. I had paid a bit extra for view of valley which was stunning.

Room quite small and only had a hanging rail for some clothes. No kettle or tea making facilities which I feel should be in every hotel at this price. I was told the room I chose did not have this facility. My son did ask the reception and they gave him a kettle only to use while we were there. Water in fridge first day only. Would have been nice to have small water replaced daily. Air conditioning did not work, the staff said it was too early in the year and too cold. Coming from Scotland we found it extremely hot at night and very uncomfortable to sleep, even with french door opened. The hotel should state no air conditioning in March. It advertises as 'air conditioned' I would enquire about other rooms if I were to go back to Assisi. I am guessing a more expensive room would get other facilities.
