Our family stay was very pleasant and Hotel Pax definitely added to our experience in Assisi.

Friendly staff providing excellent service. The location was very convenient, just minutes away from the most important churches and the main plaza. The hotel offers breakfast with a wide variety of food and beverages.

If you want to visit St Maria Maggiore and the Saint Carlo Acutis it is the perfect place. The stuff was really very friendly. Breakfast was nice.

Unfortunately the Cappuccino for breakfast you cannot enjoy.

Located in the heart of Assisi, very close to the Church of St Maria Maggiore, where the body of new St Carlo Acutis lies. Close to a lot of restaurants and shops, Breakfast was good. Bread was excellent and even the service. Well organised. The room was very spacious. Bathroom was comfortable. The hosts at the reception, were very helpful and assisted us with all our concerns.

Slightly warm at night in October. We had to leave the window open to cool a bit the room. At times, since the window was open, it got a bit noisy. .

Very pleased with our stay

Charming hotel! We loved our stay here. Great location in the middle of Assisi. The staff was very helpful with recommendations around the area, making a dinner reservation, luggage storage, and we also appreciated the included breakfast.

Slightly thin walls, but we travel with white noise so it wasn't a big deal for us.

Wonderful stay in Assisi for our family of four at very reasonable cost

Hotel Pax is a quaint, clean hotel and very well kept. The owners are very gracious and helpful of any requests. They even left us a delicious breakfast to-go for an early morning departure. Great location and easy walk from Mojana Parking garage. Highly recommend this hotel.

It is a bit like a monks cell. The shower stall is tiny. The hotel confirmed that they had arranged secure parking for our motorbike, but it turned out that we had to just park in the street.

The property was strategically located to most sites in Assisi.

The bathroom had a lot of mold on the ceiling above the shower. I took pictures of the mold and showed them to the Front Desk in the morning. Thankfully the hotel staff did move us to another room after I brought it to their attention. However, I was a little bit surprised the hotel staff charged me an additional 10 Euros for the new room when I checked out of the hotel the following morning. Yes, the room was a little bit larger than what we originally booked, but I feel I shouldn’t have been charged for it. I didn’t request a larger room or complain and make a big deal about it; I just wanted a room with a bathroom with no black mold. Also, I feel I shouldn’t had to pay 10 Euro extra to get a room free from black mold.

Lovely hotel

This property is lovely and located close to the square but away from the crowds. The owners were welcoming and very helpful. The hotel also has a restaurant a few metres away which serves excellent Umbrian food.

Gracie and her brother provided stellar service. Gracie is the best hostess! Breakfast bar very good. Location is perfect! Next door to many religious sites and good restaurants.

This is a family owned & run boutique hotel. The owner, Antonio, provided exceptional service with sight-seeing advice, restaurant reservations, taxi reservations - whatever help we wanted.

The bathroom in our room would be too small for some people.

A lovely place to stay in Assisi

Antonio was a wonderful host. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. We enjoyed our 4 nights so much we stayed for a 5th. The location of the hotel was great, and even parking, which is hard in all World Heritage Sites like Assisi, was convenient.

Not only was the whole staff at Hotel Pax readily available, effective, personable, and thoughtful throughout the whole duration of our stay, the room also was exceptionally clean and perfectly situated in the beautiful city. We throughly enjoyed our stay and wish we had more time to spend there. When we return to Assisi, it will be our go-to spot and we will recommend Hotel Pax to everyone we know that will be travelling here in the future!
