Everything was of a very high quality and very much appreciated.

I found it initially difficult to locate as the signage was so small - but the woman who greeted me (Neluzza?) was, after an initial and unnecessary berating for not letting her know my arrival time - I had told her I’d be there between 6 & 6.30 pm and I was there at 6.20 - exceptionally helpful with everything. She gave me a paper map, told me where to buy the ticket for the bus down to the station in the morning, where to get a good breakfast and where to take the bus from. This is the sort of thing which is so lacking when places do self-check-in, and was very much appreciated. Everything was super-clean, beautiful, functional and accessible. She recommended the restaurant opposite, where they gave me a discount (which I gave back as a tip) which was very good. I would definitely stay here again.

It does have a couple of flights of stairs. It was no problem for me but my elderly parents didn’t love it. The host graciously helped with our luggage.

Can't fault this place as it was clean, comfortable, close to main amenities and parking within easy reach. Host Paolo was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

The bed was comfortable and clean and the location good. The host was not ready for us. The WiFi did not work. We connected but we couldn’t down load any messages or send any messages. The fridge was turned off and unplugged. We felt safe but not cared for.

Exceptional

Very nice and prompt staff. We made the reservation the same day of our stay and the room was ready really fast and the host came to meet us in less than 30 minutes. He offered us recommendations about places to visit and eat in Assisi, a discount card and a map. The room was very clean and the air conditioning was a blessing given the high temperatures in July. The apartment is positioned in the city center, we didn't need a car to move around since all the sights were reachable on foot. It was a great experience and when we come back to Assisi, we will definitely stay here.

Calocci delights in Assisi

The location was excellent as stated. Very quiet but central. The host was very helpful as one suitcase was not working properly. He spent over 30 minutes attending to it.

Location is in the centre close to everything. Good view from windows . Our host told us many interesting things about town, advised some good restaurants, gave us Assisi card for discounts. Also for what we are very grateful to him - he drove us in his car to Eremo delle Carceri.

we enjoyed the view from the room, looking down to the garden and across to the valley. The property had been finished to a high standard and was very comfortable. the location was ideal.

I would definitely choose Camere Calocci because it was awesome!

Camere Caolcci is a quiet, clean and spacious place. It is very near all the main attractions in Assisi especially the Basilica of St Francis. It is also close to some good restaurants. You can't hear the noise of the streets in the apartment. The whole place made us feel at ease.

The only downside is that it was difficult to find it initially since it is located in a narrow street an it was early at night with no signpost in the main streets.

Perfect weekend base in Assisi

Perfect room for a weekend away- it has all you need as a city base, comfortable and clean, great views from our room, and the piazza just one street away. Paulo was brilliant, welcoming and very helpful. Thank you!

Great and kind help of Paolo - he sacrificed his personal time to help us to park a car, to learn the city geography and history. He explained what we must see, provided a great guidence to find a good restaurants. He is an amaizung person. Facility is very good, very clean. It is historical bulilding. Location is perfect!
