Space was a bit tight for three but the location made up for that.

My stay was wonderful with great accommodation quality.

The room is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and quiet, with a soft and cozy bed. It is equipped with all necessary amenities, complemented by thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water and snacks. Its prime location provides easy access to all the church attractions, with most sites within walking distance. The host is exceptionally friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to assist.

Good location. Fantastic views from the terraces. Clear instructions on where to park. Make sure and translate your message about check-in before you are standing in front of the door! It is all self check in but if you don't read Italian it will be more difficult than it needs to be.

Watch your head on the stairs! Old building with very low ceilings.

Its in the old town so it is near to all the churches

Parking space is a little far from the accommodation so pulling luggages on cobblestone roads can be a problem. Glass cups in the room will be preferred over paper cups. Room 26 did not have air-conditioning so it can get a little chilly at night. That said, the bed and blankets kept me warm.

Such special memories of the sunrises and sunsets from the roof top terrace!

Welcoming staff and lovely views out our window. Clean, comfortable room. Enjoying our morning coffee and the sunsets on the rooftop terrace could not have been better. I do hope to be back to Assisi and I will look to stay here again!

Perfect Assisi stay

It’s a beautiful property located in the heart of Assisi. The accommodations were perfectly suited for our one night stay. Our host, Luka went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. I highly recommend Roof Garden Rooms and will stay again next time we visit Assisi.

Great accommodation in a great location with a wonderful, friendly host.

Very clean & secure. Great location & a 5 minute walk from Basilica di Santa Chiara. The owner Luca was there every morning & always willing to help out if you sent him a message via WhatsApp at other times. When I was leaving, I asked him to book me a taxi to the train station. None was available, so he drove me there himself. Such great service.

Minor point: the mosquito screen only covered half the window so if it had been warmer and the mossies had been out, you'd have had to keep the window shut and use AC.

Wonderful ! Nice, clean rooms, electric waterkettle, tea, coffee etc. Lovely, very helpful staff, thanks a lot ! Lovely views from the peaceful terrace over the valley. Close to sights, restaurants, shops, yet on a very quiet street. Newly renovated this winter.

The staff were very friendly and the place was just beautiful and very pleasant.

Very beautiful property and very clean. The rooms are small but it's in a very old building. My room had a private balcony with a view of the valley. Just beautiful. The air conditioning worked great and so did the Wifi.

The shower is exactly 2 feet square. It's the smallest shower I've ever used. Granted, the bathrooms are small because of the available space and the inclusion of the bidet. But a bigger shower would have been appreciated.

Felt very safe traveling as a women alone in foreign country here! I was nervous about booking something inexpensive, but it far exceeded my expectations. Luca was very helpful with communication/ recommendations/calling a taxi for me. The room was perfect- clean & nice finishes & a private bathroom & just enough room for 1-2 people. My terrace view from the balcony was so beautiful too. Check in/check out was so simple. I wish I could have stayed longer!

The personal in charge was really a nice person. He told us many good information. He r ent us the charger for smartphone as well.

Luca was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Room was large with a private ensuite. Communal balcony with a gorgeous view of Umbria. Excellent value for money. Would stay again.
