Wonderful place in Assisi

La Casina Colorata is located in a great place. The house is beautifully decorated, cozy, clean and I felt like at home right away. The host is very kind and friendly. She really cares about the guests. I had a wonderful time in Assisi and staying at La Casina Colorata made my time in that beautiful city more special.

Proximity to main Piazza. We could just amble into the town. The host. She was amazing and made certain we knew about the attractions. Always wished us a great day and was very friendly and obliging. Definitely would recommend her apartment.

It can be difficult to drive into Assisi and park to off load luggage. We di park near the door but had to hurry as we blocked the narrow street! There is free parking outside the walls with a pleasant walk back!

Great location with very friendly host and room was clean and affordable.

Great location in historical center of Assisi. We loved it, especially the friendly host that gave us many recommendations and laughs and was always available. She made us feel welcomed and seen. It has a good common area with fresh and beautiful kitchen with coffee machine (kitchen not allowed to use fully due to regulations). Room was clean, affordable and in a historical building. Only two rooms which made it cozy and quiet during our stay.

The owner is a great hostess who became a friend during our stay. She went out of her way to suggest and arrange visits to beautiful places. Her kindness was one of the highlights of our visit to Assisi.

Probably the best location to stay in Assisi. Beatrice is super caring and ensures safe arrival way in advance. The Casina is a beautifully renovated building directly in the town center. The interior shows great care for detail and comes with a fully equipped kitchen. We really hope to stay longer next time.

An accommodation not to be missed when visiting Assisi

Although this is not a hotel, it is an exceptional place filled with comfort, help and love. Beatrice, our host was very friendly and through her conversation we concluded that she is tightly bound with Assisi and her accommodation. She really is a woman of faith who is ready to help and to share with others the joy in spreading St Francis' message: Pax et Bonum. The accommodation was exceptional: big room and bath-room as well as self-service kitchen where you can have some coffee and snacks. Fridge and coffee machine was also available.

Beatrice was the most marvelous host of the entire trip. Her attention to detail and desire for us to enjoy our time were apparent and honest. She has put in so much effort to make the place a true cozy home in a medieval architecture. I could have stayed there for the entire trip!

Italian law does not allow cooking in a rented room, so there was no breakfast available despite a wonderful kitchen. If you stop in town below and pick up some milk and cereal, or cold cuts and pastries, there is coffee and tea fixings and a fridge….so there’s a fix! 😎

Comfy room right in the heart of Assisi, we thought tge location was great. Beatrice was a very friendly host and helped us book a taxi to the airport and recommended a great restaurant!

Really enjoyed the friendliness and comfort

Breakfast not included but could be bought locally and consumed at the B&B. Central. So easy to see all attractions. Near good restaurants. Very easy check in and out.

I didn’t understand the shared kitchen but that was my misunderstanding and not a fault of B&B. I also failed to take note of where the lights were which was quite funny returning after an evening out with friends. Again, no fault of B&B

Perfect location and loved how clean and comfortable it was!

We loved that it was so clean and that we had control of the heat for our comfort. We also loved the location! It could not have been in a better place. We were only steps away from everything Assisi has to offer.

We could not use the kitchen to cook and the bed was somewhat hard. That seems to be the same everywhere we have stayed though, so no complaints from us. It was cozy and clean and comfortable and we would stay there again.

Wonderful, Friendly Staff and Perfect Location

The location was perfect, very close to the main piazza. The shared kitchen is beautiful as seen in the photos, straight out of a fairytale with the medieval stone structure. The host, Beatrice, is very friendly and helpful. I would 100% recommend the Casina Colorata for a nice and peaceful stay in Assisi.

Beatrice is a heartwarming hostesses, kind and caring. The B&B is beautiful, cosy, comfortable and it feels home. The location is perfect and you can use the Kitchen if you like. Highly recommend!

Beautiful historic, charming space in great location.

Beatrice was amazing with her great and friendly help with parking and luggage. We ended up parking our rental car in a remote spot that required her to guide us through the maze of tiny alley roads to get back to the main road. She was so helpful, driving us to our car so we didn't have to drag our luggage. This room and common areas are beautiful--really charming with a shared, well equipped kitchen, lots of coffee and tea. Best Wifi we had in a month in Italy. Highly recommend.

Can't think of anything we would change. The mattresses are a bit soft, but well made up and overall comfortable. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
