Centrally located with the best view of the Cathedral! Wonderfully appointed, a beautiful space.

Beautiful apartment, great views and location.
The bed needed a top sheet as it was to warm for the quilt. The room wasn’t attended to on the day before we left,so we had no coffee pods or milk for a morning coffee.

Location is 11-out-of-10!
This property could be 10/10, except…
Bathroom is great…except nasty hair clogging the shower drain that we had to remove…clearly nobody checked whether the drain was working before our stay.
Breakfast served in your room…true (well, left on the doormat outside the door, actually), except it’s a cold box costing 30EUR per person.
Bathtub is wonderful…except (1) it’s directly under the AC, and we had to clean it ourselves every day because the cleaners clearly didn’t.
Plates and utensils are wonderful…except nothing was provided to wash them and no location was provided to dry them.
Blackout curtains are great…except the don’t cover the windows so the light woke us up crazy early every morning despite the curtains.
Sink and bathroom mirror are large…except the lighting is so bad my wife had to use the flashlight on both of our phones to do her makeup.
Towels and pillows were nice…except if you’re going to run an apartment-hotel with no staff, leave extra towels and pillows available.
Separate WC is nice…except there’s no sink except all the way around the other side of the apartment. Please leave some sanitizer and towels in outside the WC in the kitchenette area or something so people can somehow clean their hands. Yuck!
Y’all are on the right track…I hope you can correct these things, ‘cause it’s a good place in a great location.

Wait a moment, let me think for a minute……………………..
Warte mal, lass mich eine Minute überlegen…………………………………
The so-called hotel – actually an apartment in a residential building – has an unusual concept: there is no reception anymore. Everything is handled digitally, you don’t meet any people, and for me, that’s exactly what makes a real hotel.
A small gimmick: you could only check in at 5:00 p.m.; earlier was only possible for an extra charge of €25. The name “hotel” is also completely misleading, as it’s just a single apartment. Apart from the fact that it probably takes away affordable housing for locals, communication with the call center was extremely complicated.
On top of that, I found it outrageous that Booking blocked my credit card, claiming my payment didn’t go through. The company simply declined my card. This so-called hotel has its own payment system, which in my case didn’t work at all and was unnecessarily complicated. A 20-minute phone call finally led to a result.
Compared to the effort, the accommodation itself was nothing special – below standard. If this is the world of the nerds, I’m already looking forward to my next doorman, no matter how grumpy he might be. 😉

Bed is amazing! I had been traveling throughout Europe for 2 weeks before so having a decent bed was really great.
• Breakfast was really good! Traditional items and of very good quality. Yum! (No coffee, however.)
• Location (except for the screaming drunks mentioned elsewhere) was great and close to many great things in Vieux Lyon.
• View of the Basilica from the windows is awesome.
Looks nice but very impractical: The place emphasizes form over substance. It was not designed with travelers in mind. It was not comfortable. It felt more like a museum than a hotel room.
• No place to set your luggage: The room was huge, but there was little useful furniture, and NO luggage stands. Your luggage had to go on the floor, so you are constantly on your knees whenever you need something from your luggage.
• Uncomfortable furniture: The velvet chairs look nice but they have poor cushions so you sit on hard wood pieces that get uncomfortable fast. The only semi-comfortable chair was a black faux-leather swivel chair – so you better not have 2 people who want to sit down!
• NO temperature control! Broken sensors on the window told the silly temperature control gadget that the windows are open when they are not. This meant I could NOT change the temperature in the room – neither warmer or colder.
• Questionable people hang around the building: The area seems popular with homeless people, loud drunks, and (I presume) drug dealers since one offer me some. As a larger man I was not afraid, but I don’t think I would recommend this location for a single woman.
• Nice customer service people if you can get a hold of them: I called a few times and went to voice mail – did not get a call back. Finally on the 3rd attempt I got an answer, which was good because I was getting threatening emails saying if I didn’t pay soon they would cancel my reservation. (NOTE: You MUST call them to pay. They do NOT accept payment from the booking sites.)
• Espresso machine was broken (leaked all over!) plus they provided minimal coffee anyway. I bought my own coffee since they were really stingy on providing enough for my stay. They are just being cheap. A 12-pack of Nescafé is 4 Euros.

Location, style of apartment, super view, very comfy bed. checkout at 12pm very appreciated
Virtual check-im procedure a little discombobulated - agency rep was difficult to reach via phone, check-in codes were sent late

This was NOT a hotel in the customary sense as we understand a hotel to be. There is no location, front desk, check in or any of the NORMAL situations one assumes a hotel to be. Apparently, they assign various rooms around an area but as guests we were unable to interface with a person who could properly direct us to our “room” and therefore we were thus, after several attempts and unanswered phone calls, unable to find our room. Therefore, at the last moment we arranged a room at the lovely Intercontinental Hotel which welcomed us with open arms!

Location
Room facilities and comfort itself
Beautiful view on the basilica
A bit noisy sector due to shop deliveries and early garbage trucks
Room was very expensive, the view on the basilica cannot justify everything ( I paid 270€).
Plus for this price, one expect more facilities like coton pads.

This is one of the nicest hotel rooms we've ever stayed in for work or pleasure. Big and spacious, and in a great location close to transport. When we booked the room we were concerned about the self check-in and lack of a front desk, but communication with the staff was great even arranging somewhere to safely deposit bags before check-in.
The door mechanism was little confusing, but once we resolved that the room was all upside.

The service is very bad. Impossible to get them over the phone. The payment process is very uncomfortable. Highly not recommended.

The Location was perfect. Really nice area. The Metro was jusg accross the street. It had a very comfortable bed. Netflixwas nice, when it worked.but it was the only thing I could get on TV. Regular TV only showed the message that "all time had expired"
Security, I was not allowed to use the dead bolt. I called and was told that the digital entry was enough security. NO IT IS NOT. I called the staff to report that and let them know the TV did not work right. She said she would have someone fix it the next morning. No one came, and noone ever answerd the phone again that day. I gave up, tv was not a big issue but they do need to answer the phone.

Awesome spot, great location! Loved the bathroom and also the beautiful bathtub. The room was large and comfortable.
The check in was awkward, couldn't get the door open and had to borrow someone's phone in the building to get instructions. More detailed instructions would be appreciated before arrival as there is no front desk and it was confusing.
