Interesting styled, spacious room in the city centre of Lyon

Interesting room (room was all in black - very cool style). Location was pretty good as it was close to the city centre.

Toilet is a bit uncomfortable as it was very small and bath is open to the room (no door to shower/wash area. It's not a hotel. Just two apartments/rooms in a normal building with code to enter. Pls be aware that you have to prepay through a link they will send you by mail.

Quite cold (even with AC set at max temp, we didn't get more than 21 degrees in the room. Some hotel slippers would have been nice

Good niche for a Lyon discovery

Room is spacious, great shower. Bed very comfortable. Lightings are very nice. Great to have microwave and fridge. Location is perfect. Interaction and help from the staff incredible with precious recommendations.

Room is noisy, not well insulated and you can hear other people in the neighboring rooms. Difficult to regulate the room temperature, we haven't find a way infact. Windows cannot be open fully to change air and get some fresh air in. No body cream offered, bathclothes a bit old in fabric. No hangers for coats, which is a bit unpractical. Some parts needs maintenance, like e.g the shower is fixed with tape.

A room with a a very good position, nice and new inside but with some smell

This is not a hotel, is more like ArBNB rooms, no reception, no brekfast room, just few rooms in an old building where you have 2 codes to access your room.Room was new, bed very good, coffee and tea in the room.Position is very good, right in the center, with a lot of restaurants and shops arround.Very nice cofeeshop just arround the corner.

My problem was we didn't have door at bathroom and the temerature in the room in october was 19-20 Celsius degree, very cold.We had Platine room.Our friends had Topaz apartment and Onyx and there was a ver bad smell inside from drain, same without doors at bathrooms and the smell was also in bedroom.

Romantic and cozy, this place is perfect!

A wonderful job bubbling spa tub was wonderful. Especially As it was plenty big for two! Linens were great and the bed so comfortable! We would definitely stay again!

Very relaxing

Absolutely stunning! The property was located close to many shops and cafes. The room was amazing! I loved that there was even cutlery and a microwave. The bathroom was fantastic!

Great accommodation compromised by several little faults.

The suite is extremely spacious, stylishly furnished and in a great location. The area itself is very safe and is centrally located for exploring Lyon. There are several car parks close by and any number of places for breakfast.

The aircon didn’t work, the bathroom drain was extremely slow to drain meaning showers were unnecessarily short and the WiFi did not work. I only reported the latter to the hotel and they failed to fix it.

Great location and quiet suite that was equipped.

Love the lighting and how dark and quiet it was at night. The place was a bit dusty but black is hard to keep dust free. It would have been nice to get coffee refills. Loved the breakfasts.

Disappointing experience. Go elsewhere.

Leaving. Room wasn't up to par.

Room obviously wasn't ready as the AC was non-functioning when we arrived. The room was sweltering hot. We notified the point of contact for the room immediately and was advised they were sending a repairman. They also offered us another room, which was described as a 5-minute walk. The repairman arrived and tried to fix the AC unit. When he couldn't, we offered that he take his time and fix it while we would be out for dinner. We returned to the room 2.5 hours later and the AC unit was still non-serviceable. No one notified us that they couldn't fix it. We used the fan provided but the room was still too hot to sleep. We opened the window which let mosquitos in that bit us all night. It was a dreadful experience. Changing rooms, while a nice gesture, didn't work for us as we already parked 10 minutes away and had to drag our luggage from the nearest parking lot across cobblestone streets. We were informed a Customer Service Rep would contact us to discuss our negative experience, but after more than 10 days they have never contacted us. Avoid this place. Not worth the hassle. The room also needs a serious deep cleaning as the odor upon entry is nauseating.

Fabulous and we would recommend

The concept is more akin to Airbnb, rather than a hotel. The room was stylish, clean, airy, perfectly located and easy to access. We had problems with the access code working and called the 24hr number and a solution was found immediately. The staff couldn’t be faulted.

Some of the tech in the room was a little too clever for its own good and the AC didn’t really work. We opted for the breakfast and were very disappointed with the quality. There are so many local cafes, in hindsight we should have just used these.

Bad Service. I had a problem with getting into room and it took 2 TWO .... 2 FULL hours for them to resolve the problem. There was no one to help me with the keys! This is completely BAD !

Expect a more airbnb vibe, not hotel.

The suite we had, Rubis had a nice proper kitchen with a dining area. The tub inside the room had keys. After a long day of walking, it was awesome to come back to. The place is very large. You can spread out. It is like a studio apartment. Location is great, quiet street right off of the main area. Amazing shopping. There is a great cafe right at your doorstep.

There was no front desk! This place is more an airbnb than a hotel. We deliberately wanted to stay in a hotel not an airbnb because the benefits of having a 24/7 front desk really are important. The morning we left there were no taxis to be found because it was so early, thankfully we had figured out the metro. Had there been a front desk we could have asked them to call one for us. If you run out of soap, toiletries, tissues, towels, or need any service you can’t just call the front desk or go down to one. I will say the property manager was relatively fast but we still had to wait overnight because it was late and there was no management on site. Checking in is tricky, it’s all key pad and remotely done. Again we got in late, and when I emailed the manager for help, they couldn’t respond. We did figure it out, but better instructions or someone being available to make sure guests check in would be helpful.

The check in time is not before 5pm! That's too late! There is no facility to even leave your luggage at the property! Very very inconvenient and annoying! The kitchen has a cooking range and burners but no vessels to cook and no kitchen towels.

Disappointed - too expensive for what it offers. Reality doesn't match pictures nor offer.

The location is perfect. Quiet and clean.

The photographer (online) made the room 100% better than it is in reality. The size of the room cannot be 20 m2 as shown on Internet. What is called a suite is a tiny room, sort of AirB&B. It's called a hotel but has no reception. Can't imagine where you would eat breakfast. The view is to the wall of the nearest building in 2m distance. The finalization process of the reservation (booking.com) is long and complicated. You get a call announcing a mail. (While you are on the road already) Then you have to answer stupid questions by mail. Then you get a link to prepayment. Without payment you won't get the codes (Why can't they charge it to the CC on booking?) What if the payment link doesn't work because you are on a train! Then you get a long mail with three (!) different codes for entering the building, the floor, the room. Not before 17:00h sharp! Can't imagine where the positive comments originate unless people have booked a larger, expensive suite, but then they shouldn't call the small rooms a suite!

A 5pm check is very late by international standards. If I had known this I would not have booked. Finding a safe place for luggage until 5pm detracts from time you can spend either relaxing or site seeing

in the first minute i sat on the balançoire and almost crushed on the floor- it is not safe! couldn't use the tv , couldn't figure it how it functions. ants in the kitchen. hot water finished early last night. automatic light in the toilet is a real manace, turning off very soon, and turning on even during the night when one would prefer the darkness. the entry with all the codes is not friendly.
