Wouldn’t consider staying at this property again.

Very different and ample property. Excellent Location.

We opted not to receive daily cleaning of our room and left the DO NOT DISTURB sign hanging outside the door at all times during our 3-nights stay. However, we found two strange objects INSIDE the property that were left on the sofa while we were out in the city. Extremely upsetting. Wrote to the Property Manager and got a vague response… still waiting for an explanation. Some pieces in the shower were broken. Also, consider that this is a residential and office building. Lift wasn’t working. Got repaired at checkout time. If you can lift your luggage 2-3 stories up, then it won’t matter. And: you need to punch FOUR keypads with codes at different doors to enter the room.

Funky loft conversion in heart of Lyons bars and restaurants.

Suite Esmeralda is a funky tasteful designed top floor studio w large bed and « touch » lighting. Great open plan bath, shower, basin. Comfy stylish niche for sitting w TV. Perfect location for exploring Lyon’s great bars and restaurants w nearby underground public parking. Check in is all remote and the codes and directions were all very clear.

The lift stops on 5th floor and two flights of stairs take you to Esmeralda studio, which is directly under the roof - as it was an extreme heatwave (37-40!!) the room was very hot and the a/c struggled overnight to reduce the temperature much. In the kitchenette there is no sink or dishwasher, which seems odd for such a well finished loft conversion. Underground Parking at the Célestins Theatre was a convenient short walk away but very expensive at €26 for less than 24hrs! Be aware that on Google Maps the Place Bellecour Mi-Hotel location is at #5 and our Mi-Hotel #37 is not marked on Maps - we found ourselves trying to figure out the codes and instructions first at #5, until reading the confirmation email more closely with the specific address of studio Esmeralda which is on the corner of the Place!

Perfect for couples but not families or groups.

Location is perfect, couldn’t be more central. Parking space a bonus and communication from MiHotel team was excellent, spoke very good English and responded immediately to my questions.Breakfast delivery was efficient and appreciated the freshness of pastries and oj.

It wasn’t clear on Booking.com, when reserving a second room with friends, the MiHotel concept of apartments in different buildings, thought we were an actual hotel.

As a group of friends we booked two apartments thinking they were in the same building. But they were not, they were across the square from one another. Be aware when booking, all the suites are in individual buildings in the same area.

Nice room, but be ready to climb some stairs.

Great location and quite an unusual room!

The elevator didn’t work. We called and reported it. The staff advised they did not know and would call the repairman … on a Sunday evening in France. Residents of the building we spoke with advised it had been broken for weeks, so they had to have known. Needless to say it didn’t get fixed during our visit.

Amazing apartment, very generous in size. Great comfortable bed. Lovely toiletries provided. Mini bar and a few snacks should you wish to purchase. Parking across the road in underground parking.

The cleaner. The very stylish lights would look better without a layer of dust, and just because the lovely wooden floor has lots of cracks doesn't mean it shouldn't be vacuumed. And even though we didn't want breakfast doesn't mean we don't drink coffee or tea in the morning.

Spacious hotel for a couple to stay in Lyon

The location of this was hotel was good! They do have a microwave and some utensils. The bed was so comfortable and the room was gorgeous! The entire suite was spacious, including the bathroom which is a plus! When I was able to get ahold of the hosts they were all very friendly and helpful!

One of the main reasons I booked the hotel because it said parking was available. Upon arrival I was found out that our unit did not have parking and the closest public parking was 40€ a day. That was a little frustrating. The hosts are not great at responding promptly to the booking messages, it took 4-7 hours to get a message back sometimes. There seemed to be disorganization regarding the WiFi, the book in our suite had one password (that didn’t work). I reached out via message and phone call after hours. They provided two different passwords for the WiFi but we did end up getting in. I’ve seen a lot of reviews on here commenting on the lack of communication and the company typically follows it up with “we’re available 24/7 by phone.” I was able to get through after hours to get the password to the wifi, but the recording says it’s for emergencies only.

excellent location - comfortable bed- very quiet location- extra fee for secure parking

there is no where to sit comfortably there is no couch or sofa?- clever design over function and comfort NIGHTMARE to access with multiple codes/locks/doors / very stressful if driving dining table for 6 - set of plates for 4 people ( incomplete) 2 sets of cutlery and 2 wine glasses????? no cutting board or any other kitchen utensils/ plates/bowls/ no paper towels/no kitchen towels/nothing to do the dishes - they claim housekeeping does that? when? stingy on espresso capsules! weird empty spaces/ or bean bags in the bathroom ? - hot water did not work/ bath tub could not be filled? bathroom area is long/narrow and awkward for two people.

Wonderful location, big and comfortable suite, clean and tidy, big bathroom with a big shower

There was a misleading information on booking.com about the parking space: it is available for 20€/night but only for 2 suites, not for every room!!!! For other suites (including ours) you can park for 40€/day. You have to prepay for your suite when you book so you can have the access code for the building and for your room. The former worked, the latter did not; we asked for assistance and we received immediately a new code, but it didn’t work either, so they gave us a physical key. The wifi password did not work either, so again we asked the staff for help which they gave us right away. To summarise, we really enjoyed our stay, the staff was incredibly helpful and nice, but given the price of the suite we encountered too many issues.

Wonderful window and balcony kitchen area to make coffee. No sink in the kitchen so you have to wash everything in the bathroom but nice good size bathroom also lovely window balcony out onto place Bellecour.

Couldn’t get the air conditioner to work. It was a heat wave in the room is very hot head open the windows in the middle of the night and then of course motorcycles tearing around out there otherwise everything was super.

the apartment is amazing. high ceilings, wonderful details, modern finishing, and great location.

there wasn’t really a good setup to do so proper work. the low coffee table and chair didn’t work really well as it was too low and uncomfortable.

Very beautiful apartment but best for a family since three of the 5 beds are bunks in the living room and to access the bathroom you must pass the main bedroom. The air conditioning is limited to the bedroom so if you sleep in the bunks you must use the (provided) fan. The apartment design is very modern and elegant and the wall projector is very nice .

The room is like 3*15 meters, very hard to be in and share. No toilet paper in the rest room, kitchen is very un comfortable, the beds are uncomfortable. No privacy between different parts. Very small

Below expectation

The Room was 'long', meaning elongated room made our baby svailable to run through during stay. Bathtab was really nice.

Not hotel, but apartment with some furnitures. TV did not work, wine seller without power, air conditioner without remote controller/power. There is elevator but you need to go down half floor by stair. 5 PM is standard checkin time and you need extra for early checkin.
