Great location, but will look to stay elsewhere next time to Lyon.

Nice lift. Nice location.

Poor lighting. No mirror or towel bar in toilet. Shower drain clogged. TV shows English channels but they wouldnt turn them on. Two towels for bath, no dish towels, no tissue, etc. Internet kept cutting out. Washer/dryer leaked water onto the floor. Spin cycle violent and thought it was going to explode. Basic stuff, basic maintenance. Owner must not care.

GREAT CHOICE

The room was beyond perfect. There is a parking garage near. For this trip my wife was very ill and crawled into bed and did not get out of it until we checked out. Thank you to the staff for having the room ready and letting us check early for her. The bed was comfortable and large. The bedding was crisp and clean. The room was clean. The bathroom was spacious, water pressure was great, the hot water never ended and the shower gel had a great scent. There was a kettle, tea, fridge, microwave, sink and some dishes. LARGE room and super high ceilings. If we come back to Lyon we will book this hotel.

We loved it and would stay again!

Hotel in a great location for visiting old town, Christmas market, light displays, and river walk. And yet it was very quiet at night! Very comfortable bed, good size, very clean, everything from a mini dishwasher to a washing machine. Codes worked very easily. Close to restaurants and supermarkets and shops. We loved it !

WiFi wasn’t great but we were happy to use data. Expensive but great location 😊

Great location, ok accomodations

The location is perfect. Quite area, close to the Place Bellecour. Great to have a fridge and microwave in the room.

The false marketing. The room was advertised as " 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom " which very much was not the case - it is one big room. The kitchen was also very overrated in the description and pictures - while showing a stove, there is no cookware at all. Even the plates were very scares, not even a deep one for eating soup.

Comfortable stay, handy location.perfect for our needs

This is a self check in property, which was reasonably easy. Great location. The box delivered breakfast was excellent and more than sufficient. Bed comfortable. More than adequate for our needs.

The washing machine leaked water everywhere and the coffee machine worked but the water tank had a crack in it and also leaked. We reported the issues to the company and I assume it will be fixed.

There were extra stairs inside the apartment, which was not expected. Wi-Fi was not great and it was interrupted oftenly. Paid breakfast was just a box in front of the door with bread, yogurt and bottle with orange.

Apartment in a perfect location with everything you need for a reasonable price.

Big apartment, with everything you need. There is a small kitchen with a dishwasher, bathroom with handle bars. Amazing bed to sleep in and easy access to the building with the provided codes. The location is right in the centre of Lyon with train station close. It is a perfect location and not too much noise.

Check-in is late, at 17:00 but for extra fee you can enter early. Wooden floors tend to make a lot of noise if you walk on them.

Modern, well equipped 1 bedroom apartment with great aircon during summer in a quiet location.

Really enjoyed our stay. Aircon worked well in extreme Lyon heat, great restaurants nearby, close to the river for morning or evening walks. Clean, spacious and well equipped.

Has a washing machine but nothing to hang washing on besides chairs. Stairs from entrance to the actual apartment might not be suitable for some. Both very very minor issues though.

Pretty building, poor services

Pretty old building, good lift to 2nd floor.

Almost nothing in the kitchen-not a complete set of silverware, cups, not enough towels. Asked for an extra bed, but did not come with sheets or towels. Other single bed had sheets on top of slip covered topper.

Stylish, spacious, great location!

Stylish and spacious apartment in a great location! Nice view of the square and the river (Rhône). We had a great stay in suite Rendezvous (Place Gailleton) as a family of four, with my sister’s family staying in other suites in the same elegant building. Pleasant restaurants in the square, good bakeries and supermarkets nearby. Easy walking distance to Place Bellecour, Vieux Lyon and other main sites of interest. Air conditioning worked well, which was important! Would happily return.

- The entry on booking.com is somewhat confusing and maps incorrectly (address is 2 Place Gailleton). - 5pm is late for standard check in, though they will allow earlier check in if you ask (certainly around 4pm with no charge; website says they charge for “early check in” at 2:30pm - I wouldn’t consider that early!)

Sleek, elegant, modern and well styled. A definite recommendation from me.

Very neat and modern facilities. Location was stunning with a beautiful view over the square and river. The Suite Rendez-vous was great with the separate additional toilet the lounge and dining area and washing machine. The Nespresso coffee machine was a great touch too.

Good location

There were many issues with the hotel. It was not clean. We found other people’s hair on the pillowcase. The air condition was not strong enough. It was difficult to get in touch with hotel staff to notify them about the issue because they do not have a reception. The staff claimed air condition was fixed, but the room was still at 25 degrees C unable to cool down. It was 37 degrees outside. The hotel manager was very unprofessional and rude. We were unable to sleep because the room was too hot. The day, after the hotel manager came by to check on the temperature, they finally offered us a new room at a different location. We had to move our luggages there ourselves and that new room smelled like mole. It was a very unpleasant stay.

This is a nicely decorated and confortable suite. Well located, approximately 10 minutes walk from shopping & restaurants. Staff (not on-site) really tried to be helpful and accommodating.

Check-in available is late -- 5pm. Bags must be stored at the off-site office, approx. 10 minutes walk from hotel itself. Nespresso machine in kitchen really needs more coffee pods than the 2 we were provided. While there is both a laundry machine and a dishwasher present, use of them leads to a "penalty!" No pods or powder for either anyway. "Penalty" again if you dare to use the stove! Closet & storage space lacking.

Comfy lodgings in central Lyon

Excellent location centrally, close to Pl Bellecour, with easy connections plus lots of bars and restarants. Good AC (though no control). Really quiet (facing the yard). A good bed.

Even bottled water was not free but charged at 3€/bottle. Could not log on to wifi (required a room number not shown anywhere). OK breakfast (had to be ordered separately) but included muesli though no milk. No gym. Larger than a hotel room, but a 'suite' is a bit of a stretch.

Gorgeous and convenient from the outside but little did I know my cologne would be stolen from my bag by cleaning staff.

the property is beautiful, easy to access you’re left basically alone it’s a walking distance to so much. I loved the property until an item was stolen from my bag by hotel staff

I extended my stay by one night but the room I booked originally didn’t have availability so I booked a higher end suite for the following night. the hotel requested that I leave my bags in the room at noon for check out and that they would move my bags for me to the next room. I took my valuables with me but I left my backpack and my suit case at the hotel. when I arrived to the new suite everything was beautiful, I went to grab my charger from my backpack and realized the contents had been rearranged and my document portfolio had been unzipped. upon further investigation my bottle of Cologne had been taken from my bag. The hotel said they have a policy against theft and assumed me no one would take something from my bag but I used it in the first suite on night one and it wasn’t in my bag for night two. They looked for the cologne in the suite I was in on night one and they didn’t find it. they offered nothing but apologies and excuses and I would never stay there again. I never should have left my bags and this is a horrible reminder that has taught me a lesson. I’m just glad it was just a bottle of cologne and for $100 I can get another. Buyer Beware!!!!

The location made our stay in Lyon quite pleasant.

Didn’t try breakfast. Convenient, near to many restaurants, grocery, bakery, walking distance to Place Bellecour and shopping.

Lack of cabinet/furniture for clothes, toiletries, lighting was dark. No reading lights by bed. Loud racking noise from fridge every hour (weird!!). Stayed at Mystere suite.

Great weekend stay in an atypical setting in the heart of Lyon

Atypical kind of accommodation, nice and modern setting in a an old building in a great location on the « presqu’île ». Plenty of room, under the roof. our suite was the « Copper » with the big bathtub in the living room. Definitely epic

the floors were dirty and one of the rooms had a toxic smell from some renovations (glueing a panel on the wall). instead of giving us another room for a discount or comping it, we had to pay for another. quite disappointed

Great location, cool appartement, great champagne, bed was wonderful.

Noisy. We could here the guy next door snoring loudly all night. It was funny to start with, then just plain frustrating. Then the fridge start moaning /roaring, I think it needs replacing.... Every hour or so it would spring into life and wake us up :(
